Where is my super suit?
He’s gotta be aware of his shitty play right? Someone needs to show him that quarter assed effort of chasing Hagel after that turnover in OT. Christ, that was awful.
Sadly our center depth is pretty shallow. We have Beck which is guaranteed 3rd and likely 2nd. Also Newhook which may rise to 2C. Beyond that we have Suzuki and Dach. Either is above Dubois value before the trade and completely out of bounds now. .Gallagher isn't a center. I'd almost rather just try Turcotte on the 3rd line (if he can stay healthy). How is he any worse than Dubois? At least he shows some friggin balls out there.
idk if he's like, depressed or something he might not care one way or anotherHe’s gotta be aware of his shitty play right? Someone needs to show him that quarter assed effort of chasing Hagel after that turnover in OT. Christ, that was awful.
I would say the most likely explanation is mental illness... depression or some weird need to be loathed. How else do u explain it? Normal guy with that talent would be dying to prove his value to his teammates the coach, the gm, the fans and friends and familyidk if he's like, depressed or something he might not care one way or another
not that i'm willing to really accept that as an excuse right now

building off what tny was saying.. i think he does not have hockey 100% on his mind. A bad breakup can cause this.. drug dependency, could be a lot of things.. but the dude is not rightNo one knows....so we are making guesses based on your own feelings, (again you generalized) but no one knows how his teammates like him or don't like him etc...
I’m not sure if the kings media brought to you by Mercury Insurance is allowed to ask those. Can the LA media start asking hard questions now?
My condolences.He's Robitaille's friend, who's also buddy-buddy with Bergevin's best buddy Brisson.
Rumor Becomes Reality: Los Angeles Kings Hire Marc Bergevin
Marc Bergevin's back. Just six weeks after being fired by the Montreal Canadiens, Bergevin has landed with the Los Angeles Kings as a senior advisor.www.forbes.com
No need to speculate. He’s straight up just not that good. The guy has performed at a legit 1st line level for like 40 games total out of his 7 year career. It’s not like Jets fans are that surprised at his performance so far.I know PLD is giving us a lot of frustrations, but can we not speculate on personal problems? It's bad enough constantly correcting people who think Faber wouldn't sign with the Kings.
Why do you hate us this much? Can we send bergevin with pld for monahan 50% retained???
Did it ever occur to you that he can't do better?building off what tny was saying.. i think he does not have hockey 100% on his mind. A bad breakup can cause this.. drug dependency, could be a lot of things.. but the dude is not right
I believe PLD has already surpassed Roenick as least favorite King of all time - thoughts?
Did it ever occur to you that he can't do better?
He was criticized for his work ethic and on ice efforts his whole career.
This is what we get.
Roenick at least blamed the guy who sharpened the skates for his game.I believe PLD has already surpassed Roenick as least favorite King of all time - thoughts?
I saw this and thought it must be something else besides suckingDid it ever occur to you that he can't do better?

Dustin Brown playing out of retirement would be an improvement over PLD at this point.
He strikes me as a guy that REALLY just wants to work on being a club promoter in Vegas.building off what tny was saying.. i think he does not have hockey 100% on his mind. A bad breakup can cause this.. drug dependency, could be a lot of things.. but the dude is not right
Yeah, we know thanks. Jackass will probably be our next GM if Robitaille isn't fired.
A buyout this June would be the last chance for it to be at 1/3, based on Dubois’ age. I’ve looked at the yearly numbers. I’m seriously all in favour.
Watching this unfold, I’m more thankful than ever I saw not one, but two cups from this team under previous management. Because there is no way these bozos, who in their playing days never won a damn thing on their own and were plugged into winning environments, will be getting us there.
