What - u mean to dish Dubois to some sucker? That would actually be worth it.. Dubois, Roy to CBJ (no retention ) for Laine.. would have the guy we wanted Kaliyev to be.. another problem child but half the contract length. When you are f***ed better to be less f***ed

I use to do business with companies in rural Quebec. These people are salt of the earth type that will give you the shirt off their back. They are also the kind of people that have no problem telling you to f off if you cross them.

Trade him to Montreal and he will have two choices. Do great or get a face replacement. I'll guarantee you people will spit on the floor at the sight of him if he embarrasses Quebecers.

Any thoughts on Gallagher for Dubois. It is NOT a fair offer on the Dubois we thought your or my team would get, but fair compensation for the current version. Saying no would not hurt my feelings...lol.

More of a curiosity of "what if"...then a smart hockey move.

That was the whole reason for bringing in Lombardi in the first place. Say what you want about Leiweke, but he listened to the fans and brought someone in with no ties to the organization. Not saying it never works (like Sakic, etc..) but still...

and LAK retain the salary diff? Looks like he hasnt gotten through a full season in 5 or 6.. dont think anyone would even take a sniff at this.. half the reason I think they moved Vilardi is because of injury history to me was not even that bad.. this guy is bad

Blake needs to call a press conference, Robitaiile and Beckerman behind him at the podium, then announce that the Kings have immediately bought out Dubois and are, as a group, assuming responsibility by resigning.

Its bad enough that it cost SO much, but goddam I would rather have dead cap on the books until I am in the ground than watch this garbage for 7 more years. Never disliked a King more. Not even Huddy.

Gallagher isn't a center. I'd almost rather just try Turcotte on the 3rd line (if he can stay healthy). How is he any worse than Dubois? At least he shows some friggin balls out there.
