I think they'd trade up for either Tkachuk or Wahlstrom.

I think they'd be more inclined to pay a slightly steeper price for Tkachuk.

But there are so many factors at work here.

I don't know if Bokk is on the radar. Kaut definitely is.

I have no idea on Kravtsov.

Any insight on the Dman outside the top 12?

I believe @Edge and if he says the Rangers are higher on Tkachuk than Wahlstrom and would move up for him and not the other is worrisome.

No offense to Edge, but I don't really believe any rumors, unless it comes from one of those two.

Even Dreger is unbelievably questionable on his rumors. He had us getting a first round pick+ for Talbot. He was talking as if there was a bidding war, and then there was nothing.

I tend to agree, if they are willing to trade up to get these other guys I'm not sure why Dobson is not in the conversation to trade up to get.

For me, I'd want goal scoring first Zadina and to a slightly lesser extent Wahlstrom, but if that is not available taking a potential top pair D ranks just slightly lesser on my importance scale.

No, we're not talking about Dahlin or Svechnikov, but there has at least been plausible talk about Zadina and or Tkachuk falling to somewhere between 6 and 9. Really haven't heard anything about Dobson falling that low.

Hayes is more valuable than the 10th pick, but you would draft Tkachuk and Zadina, that is basically, at least, 2 top 6 players for the future. I would overpay for the 10th pick in this particularly case.

But you have no idea of how the picks will turn out. When the rebuild is over, you can still have a sub-30 Hayes as one your pivots.

If Mon takes Jesperi then I think Zadina goes to either Ott or Phoenix for sure.

Absolutely none taken.

I think people should be skeptical and ask questions.

Hopefully my track record over the years has proven pretty reliable, especially when dealing with information that is often unreliable and subject to change direction as freely as the wind.

I try to drop nuggets of info on here, sometimes a little more bluntly than other times. I think we’ve seen a few things in the last couple of months that either appeared later on in the news, or were pretty damn close to accurate.

But I completely understand. People have been questioning things since 1997 and I promise you it doesn’t offend me, so long as it’s civil. All I can do is try to keep posting information that is of interest and grounded in reliability, if not predictability.

I’m also doing my best to answer questions on here and in private messages, while I am walking in the city. So if my responses are abrupt, it’s nothing personal.
