I feel like this would be an A+ way to make sure no free agent ever signed with the Rangers without a NMC ever again.

Zadina.

I think he's the third best prospect in this draft, easily. I think he's a potential high-end scorer, and has the chance to play a very complete NHL game.

I think he could slot in perfectly with Chytil at some point, assuming Chytil remains at center, and give the Rangers a pretty potent potential C-LW combo on at least two lines, potentially 3. Or a RW that can play with any of those LW-C combos.

Heck, depending on the price, he's one of the kids I'd be willing to pursue a deal with as high as third. So 9th is a no-brainer for me.

I agree. Just curious as to where people are. I think we are going to be in great shape after this years draft. My excitement level for tomorrow is just... off the charts.

Not sure about that, they sent Redden to the AHL after 2 of his 6 year deal and that has not stopped the UFA from seeking a pay day with the Rangers.

Even if it did effect future UFAs does it really matter if the Rangers miss out on the next round of Backes, Lucic, Ladd, Eriksson?

It could be a "high" text. I'm on a ton of cold medicine right now and the special formulation I have to take for my HBP has been known to do some crazy things to people.

There is always the possibility that whatever I text you is complete BS just to throw you off. :P

But seriously - if we get Zadina I am going to lose my mind. I know the chances are very low but just fun to think about.
