Maybe this stretch will bring this fan base back to Earth a little and realize that we have a good team, but that we're not that much better than these other teams. They can beat Toronto on any given night.

Tbh, tonight and the second game against Vancouver were the only ones in this stretch where we weren't the better team by a fair to overwhelming margin. We've mostly just hit hot goalies, which will happen but isn't likely to be all lumped together like this

Then drop him down the lineup. I'm fine with him being in there because he's smart and a good passer but he can't keep up. He's 2 steps behind and can't transition either way fast enough.

That was pretty poor yeah. After the first period at least. Impossible goals to stop for andy. Andy is 13-6-2 now sire. That's hard. Something like 2.76 gaa.

Tomorrow we'll see if our TEAM gets it going and does its thang. Thornton was pretty good tonight. Nylander was soft, tender and poor and a sucka. For life. Play better. Our D better be better too sire. I loved andersen's game, he made some cool stops, especially on breakaways and then some. Our team didn't give enough nore did it want that thang enough. Real souljas go and grab the queen and then go home with it. Hard.

Jets were better but man it'd be nice to have our goalie steal us a game once in a while. Those 3 calls at the end in a tight game were atrocious. The game shouldn't be decided on such soft calls late. When we dominate we never get those calls. The league has a serious problem with its officiating.

You can see it with a lot of teams. When they have no faith in their goaltender and they let in backbreaker after backbreaker it deflates the team.

If Dubas doesn't address this before the trade deadline, our best chance at a run will be lost.

We had em but then that Lowry goal just f***ed it all up. Next thing Ehlers dives and scores. It fell apart. Jets were great at playing the man though I thought, excellent defensive attention to detail tonight; it was lacking in the last two games for them. Why do people say the jets defenceman suck? They do the job, they just don’t play offence well.
