Here's the biggest problem I see with Carolina as a matchup for Florida: Brindamour is a good coach.

A number of teams have been knocked out of this postseason because their coaches are dumb. I will give that to Paul Maurice, he has given the team a chance to win. You can't say the same of Ruff, Montgomery, or Woodcroft. I'd add Sheldon Keefe there, but I think the Leafs problem is just that his 'core four' consisted of one bloated corpse, two absolute LOSERS, and Nylander.

I am sure that the first period of the first game will be absolutely insane fast hockey. Both teams are going to skate, check and forecheck like there is no tomorrow.
 
I dont know if you guys saw, Kings are closing in on an extension with Gavrikov. Our main D option is off the table

They need to win now cause that D isnt gonna get much better lol

My “I want the cup” started after BOS game 6. I thought, well f*** if they can make game 7 against BOS f***ing BRU then who can’t we f***ing beat?

Nothing better than drinking out of a cup you won. I want the cup. Been following the panthers since year 1 when i was 10. All the neighborhood kids got sticks and gloves and goals and started playing. We learned to ice skate at the ice den when it first opened. We went to sunrise with our high school sports teams, we watched the team get gutted year after year. We paid our dues. We deserve it.

This is our year.

I know the feeling been here since day one also. Fell in love with the game and have been here through all the crappy seasons and urinal cakes with the team logos in the bathroom stalls. (Yormark years) Dragged tons of friends to games and got them into the sport with the vouchers I'd get because my mom worked for local radio station and we were poor (Ty Mom). Found this board in middle school when it was still just Hockey's Future and the Denis Shvidki hype train was going full force. The whole fanbase has suffered enough and through the years I've always been here lurking watching the old posters come and go very season no matter what. Its been a crazy ride but I think we all deserve this .Why not us?
