My progression here:

I just want them to put up a good fight against Boston.
I just want them to win a game or two in the second round.
I just want them to beat Toronto because Habs and Leafs fans are that f***ing obnoxious.

And uh, I am gonna be honest, my progression has kind of stopped there. It really does feel like it's pure gravy now.
Marc Staal is our 4th defenseman. How long can this shit keep going for

I still can't help but believe though!

Blue Jay Way..
Just watching the Max Strus interview and a bunch of Heat players went to the last home hockey game “It’s a great time to be in South Florida” Strus said.

Also I know a lot of the Dolphins are Panthers fans. This is just a really nice thing to see.
Lots of sports watch other sports locally.

I was watching the Blue Jays game last night, and Josh Allen was there decked out in Jays gear.

So the betting houses are looking at metrics again. Completely wrong in almost every game once again we are the vast underdogs and Carolina has everything and the Panthers were just lucky. Maybe just maybe names like Montour, Verhege yes Duclaire and of course Barkov and least brought up in all the pre game shows yes Matthew who might just have saved some for a series like this. And guys like Cousins in the back drop. I might be leaving out someone. Once again just how we have to like it and yes keep doing us favors like keeping us the massive underdogs how’s it worked out for the betting houses so far…. ha ha lol.

Common misconception about sportsbooks.

Sportsbooks set odds to keep the action hot and to spread the risk as much as possible. A sportsbook line should not be viewed as an indication that some genius oddsmaker has crunched numbers to arrive at the most statistically likely winner, but rather an indication that more suckers are betting on certain teams.

P.S. Don't gamble on sports.

I always get this response but maybe I’m not saying it right. Youtube has a number videos on individuals giving their picks. I understand Vegas sets the odds and I am not a bettor period. The bottom line is everybody who has an opinion or has a prediction or plays the odds have completely been one sided wrong and once again we are profound underdogs by everybody on the planet !!!!!!!!!!!!

no, no, no.

we don't need FAs. we made it this far by scavenging the waiver-wire. we just need MORE waiver-wire defenders!
lmao

True enough. We still have Fitzgerald in out holster.

And eventually, I am sure they will run out of popcorn for Carlsson hahahaha

I did the math, 2 Staals are more than 1 Staal, so yeah, easy as Pi.
Also did the Chicken Bones throw a few times and yeah, the Panthers in 4,5,6,7.

If you guys haven't dipped into the mains, there are like 8 concurrent threads from fans of O6/prestige teams having tantrums about the fact that the final four are all Sun Belt teams.

It's funny, but it's also exhausting.
I am in shock over the "Why would an Asian watch or play hockey." But Maybe I shouldnt be

What an embarrassing post. Aside from being a stud, him being Filipino is the other reason I am a huge fan of his.

It's actually a good question IMO. Hockey is always going to be a sport that's primarily driven by wealthy enclaves that can support ice skating rinks and pay for loads of equipment. As I mentioned, I think in that thread, South Korea and Japan are two good Asian markets for hockey due to said factors.

I have to go to East and SE Asia on business sometimes, same with Latin America. Hockey isn't going to become a big sport in those regions within my lifetime, for a myriad of reasons.

Unless I am mistaken, both countries already have International Hockey teams. So it is played there already. But popularity wont actually increase unless star players come from there.

Japan had Kariya already once upon a time which is probably how it grew there in the first place. Now, that is up to Suzuku who is in a traditional hockey market.

I found the question ignorant and was asked without an ounce of research or knowledge.
