In 2015-16 he had 6 goals in his first 32 games and 12 goals at the 41 games mark.

He finished that season with 36 goals.

He also had 22 points after 32 games and finished with 85 points in 80 games played.

The difference is he was 28 years old then and 37 years old now which makes a similar bounce back much harder for him at this point in his career.

The Pens were also a much better team as well than they are today.

Crosby has looked dialed in lately, 8 points in 4 games. He's going to will this ppg season to happen, 35 points in 34 games now. Pens are also strangely 4th in the division and 1 point out of the playoffs all of a sudden. They looked like the worst team in the NHL not too long ago.
