Does Crosby’s point-per-game streak end this season?

It’s not often the pens score almost double digits and Sid doesn’t score any of them. He needs to score more if he wants to keep the ppg streak alive.
The past few games he's almost had a few. Has had some good looks.

Top 30 pointgetters are all 1.00+ ppg. Then you have Crosby at #31 (on nhl.com) stinking up the joint haha. His placement is weird at that, among the nine players at 30 points Sid is tied for the most GP and towards the bottom in goals, his correct placement per tiebreaks should be 38th.

His 8 goals in 32 games isn't even his worst goal scoring start to a season.

In 2015-16 he had 6 goals in his first 32 games and 12 goals at the 41 games mark.

He finished that season with 36 goals.

He also had 22 points after 32 games and finished with 85 points in 80 games played.

The difference is he was 28 years old then and 37 years old now which makes a similar bounce back much harder for him at this point in his career.

The Pens were also a much better team as well than they are today.
