In a way, the ballhoggery in the NBA actually tests the entire league whether to sacrifice personal paychecks and personal glory for an NBA ring.
 
btw Dodger fans, must be nice to have the team above you in the standings completely implode like the Giants have the last 4 weeks.

The Angels have the best record in baseball since May 1st and have gained like 2.5 or 3 games in the standings because the A's just never lose.

The Lakers will continue to be trash for many years because of their arrogance. Wasn't this their worst season ever in LA? The BMW driving, Dwight Howard "stay" banner waving bros won't show up if the Lakers do the right thing and blow it up.

I always laughed my ass off when people constantly complained about D'Antoni this year. That roster was straight garbage. PMS said one day that they had seen more talent and a higher compete level on women's high school teams. :laugh:

Law of averages, SF was on-pace to win about 108 games after the first 60, regression to the mean.
 
Ahh I see, but they are just totally different cultures and sports. You surely can see how each is marketed differently, we get the product the NBA wants us to have. Hockey culture reminds me more like baseball culture with "traditions" and "unwritten rules" players abide by. NBA is just a individual hype machine but that still doesnt mean there are teams (and players) who play within that framework and seem to come out on top more than the rest.

I love the way the kings do business, no nonsense and as you mentioned "spurs-like" in that regard.

But I was raised on Magic Johnson and showtime, I love the Laker roller coaster and welcome the drama its the way it needs to be. Let other teams be boring, this is the LA Lakers they have a rep to uphold :yo:
 
D'antoni was a terrible coach, the Lakers should have stuck with Bernie Bickerstaff, he led them to a 4-1 record and when Kobe was asked about the success he said he gets the F out the way and let's us play and it seemed to be working till idiot Buss blew it again
