“Chelsea are working to sign Neymar or Zaha” is like saying “Washington are trying to sign Draisatl or Kyrou.” One of them is a superstar and one of the very best in the world and one is just a good player. Funny stuff.

Also, #freeCP10. 20 minutes at RWB is a joke with the terrible form that all of Mount, Ziyech, and Havertz are in. Pulisic looks completely done with Chelsea and I don’t blame him. He’s markedly out produced every guy playing in front of him yet he gets to ride the pine pony every game.
I think you need to watch more of him aside from the highlights. I’d rather see him playing also, but it’s also not like his game doesn’t have its own flaws….one major issue just his durability. I’m not sure he could last a full season in the EPL in our front 3…dude takes a lot of abuse at times.

That said, definitely concerned about the team under Tuchel right now. I remember voicing that this would be a tough year and kind of being laughed at (not you).

I watch every USMNT friendly and qualifier and I watch as many PL/CL games as I can so I feel like I’ve seen him a decent amount over the years. He is pretty slight but no more so than Bruno Fernandes, Thiago, Coutinho, Bernardo Silva, etc so I think that knock on him is a bit overdone.

I’m not saying he doesn’t have flaws but he also has strengths and can attack defenders head on which is something they seem to be missing on the squad at the moment. And if they don’t like him as a player, which is fine and is their right, then let him go. Stop keeping him around so you can sell jerseys across the pond.

I meant watch more of him exclusively in the EPL. Tough squad to crack and physicality like no other.

and hey, I’m not knocking the guy at all….I wish he would establish himself as a lineup mainstay no doubt.

we have too many wantaways right now…..I felt like they started Ziyech to showcase him for a sale, and he was shit as well.

Did not see Liverpool only winning one of their first five with that cupcake schedule. Title hopes may already be over. Arsenal keep winning but unlikely they can keep pace with Citeh.

Could be that the Champions League race will be the only real intrigue this season.

Edit: wowowowow what a finish! Newcastle punished for their time wasting shenanigans.

Congrats Nike, you will be outfitting the USMNT with the worst uniforms they’ve ever worn. These are a joke. Someone got paid to make these! Other people looked at this and thought, yup, this is the best we can do. I want people fired, now! Woof these are terrible. Guess I’ll be rocking my 1980 Team USA hockey jersey during the games.

When you're known around the world for gun violence you probably shouldn't design a WC jersey with red splatters all over it. Maybe??

I don't see this letting up. He's going to smash the entire league.

He’s surrounded by star talent and he’s physically dominant. He’s the perfect EPL striker.

I keep thinking, when was the last time a guy with his speed, height, strength, talent, awareness, and hunger played in a top league like this? Ibrahimovich (6'5")? Was he as fast as Haaland? I never got to see him in his prime.

Yep, Ibrahimovich immediately comes to mind for me also….

How do you feel if you're MU or LEI and you have to play on deadline day?

lol…
You could hear it through the TV. It was pretty damn funny. The emotion Liverpool showed when they scored was like nothing I’ve seen in an early season game before. It was like the whole stadium knew their season was saved and it’s only week 5.

Ibrahimovic was never fast.

There are many similarities between him and Cristiano Ronaldo actually even though they aren't really similar style of players.

That's what I was thinking. A combo of CR7 and Ibrahimovic. His skill and stride and acceleration remind me a bit of CR7 in years past, and he's got the size and net presence of the schnoz.

Terrifying.

Whoa…

Have you seen the video? It could've been really, really bad

He was good for a decent stretch, then got a bit too full of himself. He'll probably produce for a bit then pull the same stunts as before.
It’s crazy he was there 4 years….seems shorter…scored a lot for a while….
