Not only is Thomas Partey out of contention currently, but the Gunners have now lost Mohamed Elneny as well, with the Egyptian ace tipped to spend considerable time on the sidelines.

I thought Elneny played better than Partey last game. Thomas is an injury risk every time he steps on a field and his passing is the worst on the team. He has no touch whatsoever.

But losing both creates a huge gap in a midfield that's totally dominated by Odegaard, who has been spectacular this season. He can't do it all by himself.

They probably have to move on someone at midfield before the deadline. I don't know why they keep talking about wingers when they have options there. TBH, Saka has been struggling so maybe drop him back into central midfield (or try Smith-Rowe) and give Nketiah a chance for more time as a winger.

“Chelsea are working to sign Neymar or Zaha” is like saying “Washington are trying to sign Draisatl or Kyrou.” One of them is a superstar and one of the very best in the world and one is just a good player. Funny stuff.

Also, #freeCP10. 20 minutes at RWB is a joke with the terrible form that all of Mount, Ziyech, and Havertz are in. Pulisic looks completely done with Chelsea and I don’t blame him. He’s markedly out produced every guy playing in front of him yet he gets to ride the pine pony every game.
