I remember Ruff's first preseason where I saw both Dmen go into the same corner to chase down a loose puck. Thought to myself "How can these guys be that bad at defense?"

Of course we saw that every game over the next few years.

It was a very interesting system. It worked well when EVERY player bought in on every shift. We saw it in 22-23
