I mean, Fitzy said it plainly yesterday that there was a chance they weren't going to qualify them for that very reason. My man doesn't lie to us.
Why can't you look at them like a great tandem and make them both the priority. I know everyone loves to throw around the idea that you can just pick up random guys and shove them down there, but looking around the league at other teams, I wonder why no one every told some of them that.
We know what we have in them, it's gotta be easier to work something out with them than hoping for FA and then still needing to work something out.
Yes.So, are they becoming UFA’s tomorrow? Not too sure about the rules.

Yep and I'm happy to see that Fitz thinks that way too. You can generally always find decent 4th liners on the cheap since they tend to get recycled a lot. It's considerably easier still when you're a competitive team that players want to play for.My cap on 4th liners is in the range of $1.5 Million and that's pushing it. Money is better used elsewhere.
A lot of guys got non-qualified with the flat cap. Going to be a buyers market in free agency.
Yes.
Should get interesting.Yes they are all unrestricted free agents
I think McLeod gets a lot of shit on here that he probably doesn't deserve, but there's also a sect that probably praises him a little too much.
I think he's a good piece and good 4th liner, but I've also maintained that we shouldn't be overpaying for someone like him.
It's right up there with the ''Sign Wood for 4 years and maybe we can get him for $3.5 million per'' stuff that was thrown around early last season.
Not that I think anybody seriously suggested signing McLeod for anything near $3.5 million, but I've seen some numbers over $2 and that's too much for me.
mehBut the people who don’t think he’s worth ~2m are wrong too.
Why you are seeing a lot of players non qualified. For Player elected arbitration, the Team can walk away if the award is $4,538,958M or more in 2020. If they walk away, the player becomes a UFA.
Garnet Hathaway. 268 hits, 13 goals, defensive beast. Ignore what I just said about overpaying 4th liners.Daniel Sprong please
I would not be shocked if some team desperate for centers gives McLeod a silly contract tomorrow
