Ignoring the fact that he's just not very good anymore, subban back to Montreal will just never happen. Dude was nothing but a distraction his last season there, and to be honest, the season after he was traded. Bridges have been burned, not worth the effort for the performance.

oh look who’s here. PKs biggest hater....I don’t think your opinion holds much weight given your history. Let it go.

Yeah, you're right. I'm way off base here. PK will end up back in Montreal, rightfully wearing the "C" on his jersey.

I’m sure there’s some bad blood between Subban and Bergevin, but if Weber and Price are out for a significant chunk of next season, it would be a decent move to take Subban back with a sweetener attached to him.

Devils have no interest in attaching a sweetener to Subban, they have no fear of hitting the cap ceiling. This is just about seeing if his value to another team outstrips his value to NJ as he's owed only 2 million in salary despite a 9 mill cap hit IMO.

More likely if Hamliton walks from Carolina and signs here, I think the Devils would more likely eat 50% at the deadline for a Subban return than now but who knows with these crazy prices on the trade market

lol at add a sweetner to move subbie. 50% retained at the deadline for a pick, is what's going to happen.

Ya NJ still needs Subban for now . No way in hell a rebuilding team gives up assets to move a player that they still need… makes no sense at all. At 50% max retention they may get a small asset. If they don’t , then they keep him and wait until the deadline when they try again. No way in God’s green earth do they attach an asset on their end .

Even at 50% retained, the Leafs have no use for a $4.5m defensively-challenged bottom pairing d-man

Yes they do. He is a media darling and he has a big shot on the point. Why not? TOR has the money to waste on Subban. It will likely happen.

When is PK 6 million bonus paid this year coming up? He base salary is 2 million but is owed 6 million bonus, just curious when it gets paid.

Absolutely not. Keep that defensive liability and attention whore far away from this team, they're fragile enough as it is.
