I wonder how much of it is team related compared to revenue from The Rock but being 6th in the ahead of Boston, Pitt, Chicago, Detroit, etc is certainly interesting. I know Detroit, Chicago, and Pitt have their issues but being ahead of the golden children was surprising.

Jack is one of the top jersey sales league wide so might play a part too

I like Colton, he produces but he doesn’t have incredible defensive results. Might be less of an issue if he’s with Jack (possession) or centering palat (defense) though.

He has pretty strong possession numbers. I would be interested. Could be a Sam Bennett type as someone else noted. Could add a strong physical presence to our bottom six or if he can play with the right players, perhaps an impact player in our top 6.

Which NHL teams need upgrades at center? Ranking all 32 teams by current quality

I’ll throw this into the fire since there has been talk about how the Devils center depth is really struggling. This does seem to put Haula at center, which the team seemed to not want to do last year so I think “none” for wants probably isn’t true.

The problem is it probably won’t be. We’ve also completely neglected the speed of our team which was one of our greatest assets a couple seasons ago. Would rather add a couple speedy guys who still play hard to our bottom 6 than a couple big goons.

Yeah can’t see where Clarke would’ve gotten a chance given he has Bratt, Meier, Mercer and Holtz ahead of him on the right side.

Is Beckman waiver eligible? Or do they just see a heavier LW/C in the bottom six as having a better path to a roster spot.
