The best we can hope for is him playing lights out, then we qualify him for 1 year.

If he continues to play lights out Hugo can trade him for a kings ransom next year at the TDL if we are not in playoff contention.

Or hugo signs him this year to a 4 x 1.9m contract. Which again is both tradeable and valuable. Either way this asset is much brtter than dado.

I could see him playing decent and accepting 2x2 or 2x2.5 considering how his year went prior to the trade. He may accept lower AAV than his qualifying offer with the security of 2 years.

Scored a beautiful goal, you don't see too many slapshots like that anymore. He looks good out there, are the Stars clueless? What's the catch?

It seems he didn't fit the coaches system 2 years in a row, they were looking to move him, and no other team made a better offer - or the Dallas GM didn't shop him around before being willing for him to be the price to pay to get DeBoer's guy, Evgenii Dadonov.

I similarly wonder what the Catch is with Vrana @ 50% of his salary. We couldn't have given a better AHLer and a 7th than the Blues gave for him???

Vrana entered the player assistance program. The Wings must know more about why that happened and decided to cut bait.

Vrana would be risk. If it goes wrong it could affect our young core. Anyway, Good luck with his struggles.

I'm sure you've noticed the improved overall play of Anderson,if he can do it,why not Gurianov
I have noticed many players / prospects gush over how Nicholson has helped them. So yes, why not him ?

Guys go take a peak at the Stars board before you make fools of yourselves. Hes a known quantity, and hes just not good. Not every player we get is a steal. Blind homerism is just as bad blind hate.

The hope is that he can establish himself as a bottom 6 offensive specialist that brings speed and size.
you said that blind homerlsm comment , but based on the peak you took at the Stars boards. But knowing what a fans base is, there is also the opposite side , the anti-homerists that will destroy the players skills reputation, after a bad season.

As some said when they acquired him, they traded for him with the thought of keeping him further.

Kiss of death, watch Kent trade his ass in a PLD package this summer 😏

Guri have everything to succeed and finally have the opportunity to produce. Let's hope he finish the season strong playing with slick Nick.
