'Yes, the ref clearly was beating Carcillo unconscious, carcillo had no choice but to give him a couple elbows to the head.
Its amazing the excuses people make for this kind of dirt behavior.
'
Why the BS, fact is he did do nothing back turned to the fight when the ref grabbed and pushed him. Of cause he should have stayed cool but he didn't.
Load of crap. Carcillo was just STANDING there when the linesman grabbed him all up aggressively and started pushing him back against the boards.
Should be ONE game.
"grabbed him up all aggressively"
lmao.
It doesnt matter, you cant hit a ref.
You're laughing your ASS off about that? Go watch it again. Send me your paypal so I can send you the money to buy a clue while Im at it.
He got him three times in the head with an elbow.
Hes lucky he only got 10 games. Probably should have got 20.
Someone posted a gif in this thread. Can you please share with all of us these three alleged hits the head with an elbow? Holy hyperbole, Batman!
What Carcillo did was wrong (as are posters trying to justify his actions because the refs missed the late hit by Prust). He aggressively tried to free himself - dumb move - but there were no elbows to the head. I'd love to know why you're pressing this "should have been give more than 10 games" point so vociferously.....
Eh? What does what he did prior have anything to do with anything?
You cant hit an official. The end.
had the penalty not been called, play would have continued, and none of this would have happened

The league is oblivious to this. It's paddling upstream against the narrative that the league's officiating is top notch.
So is this really Prusts fault?
If Prust didnt hit Stepan, Carcillo wouldnt have had to rough up a ref?
It was stupid on Carcillo's part but I'm not really pissed with him. He had right to be angry. It sucks for us because even if he wasn't an everyday player he'd played pretty well for us when he got the chance.
Uh, they should be oblivious to it. Its not a logical argument.
Carcillo hit a ref.
Why or how it came about is irrelevant.
