This is the quietest Habs high pick thread I’ve ever seen.
Not surprising given the fact that he's been limited to six games this season. Lost a lot of time in the Habs main camp and when he finally returned to Switzerland he got injured right away. Only returned to action this week so there's simply not much to talk about.

It's hard to really talk much about him when he has been injured coming back to Europe. Kid is very poise and showed great abilities at both ends of the ice. If any of you guys want to hear Habs fans praise a prospect right now, go to the Lane Hutson's thread. Reinbacher just needs to play and develop to his pace. He's gonna be a tremendous player for us in the future, no need to rush or to compare him to Michkov. I wish Michkov as much success in the NHL as Reinbacher, both are great prospects.

Sorry, they miss another top pick. They we’re afraid to wait only one year more than Reinbacher …They miss a chance to have a top forward / elite forward… For a defensive player.

I think he’ll be a fine player but it’s pretty obvious Habs fans just don’t want to think about how they fumbled the Michkov bag

It will likely take a few years to really know for sure who did what at the draft. I did not want Reinbacher or Mickhov but development is often a long process so we'll see what happens.
I think they went for need at RD and size as I think they looked at Reinbacher as the guy to partner with Lane Hutson. Only time will tell if they made the right choice or not.

Hab fans won't be any stranger to having their GM waste a top 5 pick since KK is making a lot of them eat some crow as they bashed him like crazy while he was a Hab (not his fault a project was rushed to the NHL at 18) It ended up costing MB and Timmins their jobs, if this new management team made mistakes then they will likely be in the same boat in a few years.

In which sense he is playing better that Hutson?
Based on this cherrypicked videos? Hutson scored 8 goals and has 14 pts in 11 games.
Reinbacher missed 15 games cause of injury and is playing in a bottom feeder team which is being pummeled big time and has a big chance to be relegated to second division in Switzerland.
I wonder why there are no videos in which Kloten Flyers are being scored on, so we can watch what happens in D zone in all those games.
I think loan back to Kloten was based on his whishes to finish school there, otherwise he would be loaned to a better team with better teammates and better competition in D.

There are some bad defensive plays and a goal against for Reinbacher in that video.

Reinbacher has a contract in Kloten. He couldn't just play somewhere else. Also, a bit of adversity can't hurt.

Furthermore, Kloten may be a bad team but it's highly unlikely they get relegated. They'd have to lose a playout series vs both Ajoie and the SL champion. Under normal circumstances they lose neither series. Shouldn't matter for Reinbacher though. Expect him to play NHL next season.

So:LAN 5-2 EHC | Langnau Tigers - EHC Kloten
This kind of videos will never be posted here cause it's much fancier watching him doing some good stuff than seeing him defending like a plyon on 2-1 goal or failing to impersonate Gretzky and assisting Langnau player on that 5-2.
This kid has still much work to do before jumping to NHL.

Does he?
Montreal Canadiens loan David Reinbacher to EHC Kloten

Also, Aloie didn't have an problems distpatching Kloten and scoring 5 goals. Saying they're safe form relegation it's not a certainity.

Yes, he does,

they "Loaned him" in the same way that any team loans players, based on there existing contract because there contracts all have NHL clauses that permit them to exit back to there team.

Loan, Returned it's all the same thing

The 2-1 goal is included in the video though. It also includes the bad pivot that led to the turnover that led to the goal.

Everyone makes mistakes so Reinbacher's mistakes are no big deal but these usual videos of "look how good this prospect is" are obscuring the reality. They typically never include bad plays.

Let me introduce to my channel, as I put in all the bad stuff along with the good.

The Filip Mesar vids have a lot of his bad plays as he usually has a good mix of both.
