Hoping he can leave the racist shit to himself and his family.

He hasn't been good in awhile, hopefully he is healthy and energized
Yuck, but can't be worse than Von's *alleged* off the field issues. I'd have to bathe in holy water after cheering him on!

Bosa can play both end positions, but he’s a lot better from the right side. When he’s at LE, his best move is a counter back inside the tackle. From right end he looks more fluid and show move rush diversity, from what I’ve watched.

Rousseau is the opposite. He’s better from left end. They both can flop as a change up but this keeps Rousseau at his best spot on passing downs.

If Bosa stays healthy, he could be a beast on passing downs.

Anyone else think Caleis Campbell would be a good fit? Then add Dane Jackson back?
Campbell is about the only DT on the market today that I see as a depth guy that could improve what they have in 2025 over what they had in 2024.

The DT pickins are sliiiiim right now. And while there are some rumors of some cap causalities, they might end up being more expensive than Beane feels like he can afford.

I think one thing folks are missing about the Von -> Bosa move is that by releasing Von they’re also getting out from under all his future cap hits. Yes, we’re paying more for Bosa than we save for Von (this year!). But next year they’re both totally off the books.

I am not mad at cutting Von and rolling the dice on Bosa.

But, the Bosa signing is a huge gamble that he can be healthy, available, and productive into the playoffs.

I get the Bosa swing over bringing back Leonard Floyd, too. Floyd faded in the backend of 2023 in Buffalo and 2024 in SF. The Bills need guys on the DL that make an impact in the playoffs.

I hope that Bosa can do it. But, it will not be shocking if Beane craps out on this roll of the dice given the injury history. Bosa has averaged less than 350 snaps per year over the past three years.

Hopefully the changes to the S&C staff helps...

Joe Marino says he is a great dude and a solid fit.

Was one of the Steelers suspended in the brawl with the Browns and played some end (position versatile ?).

Was the Steelers nominee for the Walter Payton award last year

Likely rules out Campbell now I would think

ASJ or a tier 2 corner might be about it.

I would be mildly surprised if ASJ is the guy.

ASJ isn't the kind of CB they tend to like (ie he is not a good tackler).

The cover1 guys debated the fact he is a bad tackler last night, they watch ALOT of film not just use twitter narratives for reference. Not sure he is the guy either but is best available.

Ogunjobi has some versatility, but he's more of a 3T. To me this clearly moves draft DT focus to 1T and loads like Alfred Collins and Jamaree Caldwell.
Thanks for the input. I don't know much about him. Kind of strange to pick him up when we have Carter behind Oliver who looked really good in my viewings of him.

So far, at least:

In:

DE/DT Hoecht
Edge: Bosa
DT: Ogunjobi
WR: Palmer

Out:
Edge: Miller
S: Hamlin (unsigned)
CB: Douglas (unsigned)
WR: Hollins
WR: Cooper (unsigned)

Looks like we should expect some secondary moves here.

IF I had to guess:

One of Blackmon/Diggs at safety

I'm not sure what they are doing at CB. The pickings are pretty slim currently on the CB market.

Blackmon would be nice get. Should come cheap, too, no? If what @HOOats says is true that Ogunjobi is more of a 3T, then I'd assume #2CB and 1T DT are addressed in the first two rounds of the draft.

Harmon as more of a penetration style 1T seems to fit what they have looked for at the position in the past.

If they go for a bigger space-eater type, that would be a shift in approach.

If you aren't bringing back Elam (and why would we?), I gotta think you draft one to be the #3 CB and sign your #2 CB. There are only 2 CBs with a 1st round grade on them after Hunter.

I'm not sure if the cluster of CBs at the bottom of the second round are going to be a day 1 starter.

I wonder if they end up bringing back Rasul...
