Problem is that Petr never actually had any succes besides that silver with U18, plus I cant forget him how he almost destroyed Vitkovice and almost send them to Chance Liga because he was refusing to resign even when situation was critical. He is not a very good and an overrated coach, thats my opinion.

I feel the same for example about Varada. Also very overrated coach, everyone thought he is the best coach cause he was winning titles with Trinec. Well yeah, but he had the absolute best team in ELH at disposal, so it was more players wining those titles then him. When he went to coach U20 and suddenly didnt had the best team there and actually had to show some coaching skill and do something with the team, he completely failed. Also very overrated coach and I dont like him .

But those are just my opinions, and I also hope and will apologize if I am wrong lol.

He had a quality squad at his disposal in Třinec, but last year, for example, Sparta had an even better team. It's not like that team is far ahead of the rest in terms of quality. In Třinec, Varaďa did an extremely high-quality job. It's different in the national team, he hasn't been with those players that long... He failed there, but it's just something different. Petr was also bad in Vítkovice.

I'm clearly more of an optimisit and tend to like about 90% of Czech hockey people.

Probably only 3 things in Czech hockey that piss me off and I don't like
1. Alois Hadamczak.. I hate him and want him nowhere near my NT.. just yesterday I read how we will save so many Euro's by expanding the league and splitting it East and West. The dude is expanding the league and bragging about saving gas money.lol He should be an auditor as he has a great nose for money but not in charge of humans or hockey development.
2. The Extraliga.. it's embarassing, shitty, corupt and self serving. Over a decade of bullshit and never seems to get better.
3. Pavel Zacha used to really piss me off! I've moved on from hating him though.lol

Otherwise, I like everything else.lol

Oh, and Varada was a terrible U20 coach... I remember wanting to kill him too!lol I do think he'd be good with a lunchpail type squad of hard workers. He's not good with star players though, he probably hated them when he was a player and still resents them.
 
Sprynar is available. It was written that he is allegedly injured, while he is among the substitutes. He didn't play the last matches, he probably dropped out of the lineup.. Or someone from the implementation team is making fun of us.
Edit: Petr says he is hurt. In another article two days old, there is a nomination and there is an alternate. We will trust Petr..:confused:

I wont even read it cause I will get angry again.

And Its not just fauls what cost us the game. It was just a terrible game from us. Like we were at training speed and Slovaks at match speed.

Germans Will be tough, and then we will get 3x the trashing and hurray home

Spending a lot of the game shorthanded is very hard. We did ourselves no favors. Slovaks played great. Here is my professional analysis

20% of the match - we were awful
20% of the match - we were shorthanded
20% of the match - we were average
20% of the match we were below average
20% of the match we were quite good

Let's see how Germany game goes! Need to avoid US in quarters.

As I say, he's a clown. He speaks well, after his performances you think that he is a man in his place and then.. To me, the game of his teams always seemed without a system, with crazy discipline, for which he has to apologize almost every time. As I write, next year there must be another coach and not this person.

I don't I think I realized how bad our D was and how good our G was. 41 shots against!

D minutes were interesting.. 1 was Matejicek, followed by Koci, followed by Dvorak .. those were our 20 minute or more men. Jiricek at 18. I admit, I know nothing about Matejicek so a bit surprised he had 24 minutes.

Forwards were led by Petr (over 20) and then Sale (almost 20).

Jecho was 12 and Skok was 8.

Enough about this match :D I want to forget about it, IT was such an embarassing performance from us. I am getting absolutelly angry whenever I think of it :D

I didn't like all the top shelf goals on a 2 metre tall guy... reminded me of Koskinen. BUT you can't teach height! He does seem very promising as do about 10 other Czech guys.
 
Ok Slovaks playing 3:5 with Swedes (eventhough outshoted) giving me a bit of optimism. Firtsly that maybe Slovaks have a realy good quality and that maybe just maybe we dont get thrashed by Swedes that much, and that we can acutally beat Germans :D

3-5 is a fantastic result for Slovakia, 3-9 would be better for the match... Sweden's stupid penalties in the last third turned it into a dramatic conclusion, otherwise the Slovaks were laughable for two thirds, only Urban kept them in the game.

I wouldnt worry about that so much ... if you look at NHL we currently have 9 elite (sure Krejci probably will end soon) forwards. I am counting as elite every forward which can get 50+ points in a season. Sure because of crazy scoring in NHL recently it may doesnt seem so. But those guys are definitely elite on international level.

And besides for Krejci (and Voras which I havent even counted, since he is sadly pretty much done) all of the guys are still fairly "young" and can play for at least another 5-6 seasons.

And we still have Kulich, Sale, Benak coming in next few years. Plus a lot of perspective players like Blumel, Lauko, Jenik, Rousek, Mysak, Brabenec, Sapovaliv, etc.

Plus we can never know who will pun out in the next few years. I mean who would say Kulich would have such a beast potential when he was 16? He came out of nowhere basically in his draft year. So we have to be opitmistic lol.

I know a lot of you are angry.lol Here is today's rosters.. Jecho on line 4 is interesting. Jiricek and Dvorak is something I could get use to.

Sale with 4 goals so far 3 and a shootout.

I really like seeeing a healthy Dvorak.

Hrabal has been great but man is he about to be tested.lol Hoping he can stay above .900 and that scouts realize it isn't his fault but our D's.haha
