Fixed this for you

So you're hinting the Rangers are targeting EP40? Would explain the supposed interest in Olofsson if they are planning a series of moves (though Olofsson still doesn't make any sense). I hate silly TDL season sigh.

The Rangers should keep an eye on the Kotkaniemi situation. The Canes can be a bit random.

Valiquette may be a smart guy but damn is he incapable of viewing hockey through more than one analytical lens.

Apparently we got shelled yesterday. LOL

Neither are signing a 1 million 5 year contract. Gauthier had a good game tonight but he needs to show a lot more to even be considered making the opening roster next year. Sustain what took place tonight and he'll have a place. Play like the previous 50 games and he better find a new home.
We shall see .....

Yes.

And looking ahead:
4 points behind Florida, we have a game in hand
3 points behind Carolina, they have a game in hand
1 point behind Tampa, they have a game in hand

This team is obviously going nowhere. /s
President's trophy surely would be nice, maybe even a "sign".
Oooops, forgot about the West.

Such a frustrating player.

give him just a little bit of finish and he’s a bona fide top 6er
Maybe it's coming. How many 6' 100'players can dangle like he did last night? That's confidence, right?
I predict he is gonna be HUGE come PO time. By then, he will have realized he belongs and can do this, and do it very well. Speed kills. Good hands bury you. Getting there.

All I'm hinting that if the Rangers are going to move Kakko (which I think they may be open to doing) it will be for a middle six center, the younger the better. Not another winger, not picks.

I actually liked that play he made on his opposite wing on Carlsson...turned him inside out .
And what about that diving play he made, sweeping the puck to Morgan Barron, setting him up for a golden opportunity. Too bad neither Fox nor Barron could convert on his great plays. And also drew another penalty, in which man advantages are becoming less and less frequent this time of year. And with our PP, drawing penalties is huge.

You also gotta give a lot of credit to the coach last night. It's amazing, how he has made all the right moves this season. Knowing full well Washington is a big, heavy club, with Ovie and Wilson,... he bolstered our 4th line by putting Goodrow there. Not only does he score our final goal, taking whatever wind was left in their sails and leaving them totally deflated, but he also led all forwards in ice time with 19 minutes. Gallant essentially took our fourth line and made it into a very strong 3rd line. Rooney played 17 minutes and Reavo 13. Combined they played more minutes than Zee, Kreids and Laff.

How's that for a 4th line? It's really a disservice to talk about the shortcomings of our bottom six, when our 4th line gets more minutes than our top scoring line. This is a good reminder how important they are to the success of this team.

those are unicorns though.

A Center that's worth anything, you'd have to overpay for acquisition then pay against the cap.

I'd look to give Kakko 3 years at a great AAV and hope he takes off.

I only saw a tiny bit but Mess looked very comfortable in the studio. Was impressed. And nice to - for once - see a friendly face on a national broadcast.

Mess and Chelios are so boring to me. Compare them to Keith Jones and JR and it's no contest. Even Milbury was better.

Did you notice that they didn't even have notes in front of them? They're being paid to just riff on Levy's setups?

We should call Laf’s development pattern the Laffer Curve. It’s already controversial — and, if valid, could have big (roster management) policy implications for us.

Wouldn't his development following the Laffer curve mean his play drops off a cliff at one point?
