Coyotes players refuse to play or re-sign?

I'd be pissed too if I were a Coyotes player who's been told to play in front of 5000 fans next year again. What a f***ing joke.
They were going to play in that 5k arena regardless of the referendum outcome, it would take a couple years to build a new arena

It's a huge blow when a temporary solution becomes not-so-temporary. I would be extremely demoralized as a player.

It’s a temporary solution either way - they move to a new arena in Arizona or somewhere else
I think only Keller, Schmaltz and Crouse are under contract should that Tempe deal had gone through to actually play in the arena. Everyone else, unless you were still on your ELC probably would not be around when that time came in 4 years.

Any player can be asked to be traded. For Keller, he has a NTC which activates on July 1, 2024, so next year. So, if he asks out like Chychrun did last summer, he would likely get moved, just that the timeline may not be what he wants. Schmaltz beings a MNTC in July but with a 10 team no trade list. Not as much pressure on AZ to move him as Keller. Crouse, has no protection.

So getting suspended without pay for refusing to play for the Coyotes would be the best thing for his career earnings?
If his daddy is not his agent then he should stay out of making public announcements. leave that to Clayton or his actual agent.

It would have been a means to an ends. Or, they could have tried to get back into Glendale (sorry to the poster who said to forget it) just for a few years.

Well yeah, that's what I'm getting at. There is no way his agent would say this because it's bad for his career earnings potential.
