He also says "others will follow". So, in order to help Bryan out, I would like to officially announce that I, too, will not be playing for the Arizona Coyotes next season.Doesn't the picture really say that Clayton's dad won't play?
So, English isn’t your first language, either?A chance for someone on HF to use "resign" correctly and it goes begging. What an opportunity missed.
or they are as has been reported sick of playing at Mullett? Is it just me or couldn't this be interpreted as fighting for the Coyotes to stay in Arizona? Kinda confusing post.
That's what I'm thinking. Wondering if the players actually have a leg to stand on with the whole shared facilities and such.or they are as has been reported sick of playing at Mullett?
There should've been some sort of actual Plan B.Don't know how this specific situation will play out, but based on what Dreger, Friedman et al are saying is that the PA and the owners are certainly very unhappy about the situation and it's hard to imagine us getting through the summer without some sort of real, tangible, resolution.
Doubt any player will risk their paycheck and sit out/force a trade
Didn't seem like guys were happy when there was at least some sort of end in sight with a potential new arena. Now how do you convince guys to stay?If I were a player, for the Coyotes, I'd be pretty upset about this too. The fact that ownership was so badly outspent on the arena campaign by the opposition groups tells me they thought victory was assured. Now that they lost it seems like they are scrambling. This is a full on disaster scenario for the Coyotes organization.
I would imagine the NHLPA would have their back if push came to shove. This charade has gone on long enough tbh. That's what I'm thinking. Wondering if the players actually have a leg to stand on with the whole shared facilities and such.
Would not be unheard of.Doubt any player will risk their paycheck and sit out/force a trade
This team is such a joke... I think all players under contract will all still arrive to camp BUT no UFA is gonna sign there... MAYBE the odd fringe guy that has no other options at all, but that's it
Walsh hasn't said a lot, but he has kinda made it known he doesn't like the idea of them playing in a 5k seat arena.I would imagine the NHLPA would have their back if push came to shove. This charade has gone on long enough tbh.
That is a horrible solution for the league and fans. It sucks to have a punching bag in the league at all, it's pathetic.Trade any RFA that refuses to sign and sign a bunch of UFA's looking for job to fill out roster for year
Suspend without pay and toll contracts of players who refuse to suit up that are under contract
Problem solved
Is it just me or couldn't this be interpreted as fighting for the Coyotes to stay in Arizona? Kinda confusing post.
Found this article, seems like it started with Bettman staying they could not play there (2017) and then Glendale refuses to extend the lease.I don’t know any of the specifics, but Glendale doesn’t want the coyotes at all no matter what? If it’s just the owners being cheap, why can’t they just work something out? There’s a perfectly good arena there, figure it out.
I think the difference now being is that in the past you'd still have guys that liked to play for the Coyotes, so you would have somewhat of a decent core of players. So, like every other year since a long time now?
I would guess that most NHL players come from upper middle class to wealthy families.Tell me clayton keller's family is extremely wealthy without telling me clayton kellers family is extremely wealthy type beat
