I'm honestly not sure why people are surprised by this. They are playing in a college hockey rink in an arena that's not set up exclusively for hockey nor was it ever intended to house professional athletes.
This is all make-shift stuff. It sucks. We get it. Cut them some slack. Jesus.

I don't think they "deserve" better, it's still very funny that this is how they're managing. It's funny how weirdly kind of defensive people some are that this is being made fun of. The unironic "it's doing it's job!" people just read as contrarian for contrarian sake.

The problem with your analogy is that the Arizona Coyotes are an NHL team (i.e., fine Italian cuisine in this scenario) and the players have no choice but to play there (i.e., go to the restaurant).
