its honestly surprising they even have matching uniforms ... guessing the showers look like an internment camp if they have running water

Hey it could be a lot worse and its only 4 games. When the Flames moved to Calgary from Atlanta in 1980 they played their first 3 seasons in the ancient rinky dink 6500 seat Stampede Corral which was built in 1950. That whole building is tiny and so are the dressing rooms. Spartan too. Mountain out of a mole hill folks... mountain out of a mole hill.

I love that this post went completely unnoticed. Ignore it and post more outrage!

So what, it's one game for 4 teams, hockey players couldn't care less. What they will like is all the hot women from ASU and Scottsdale, that will be epic, trust me players are going to like it, no city in the NHL can match that:)

Visitors dressing room ready to go!

This is fundamentally the same as a normal visitors locker room… just uglier. As a temporary space, it’s not that bad.

TBH the Coyotes’ own room in this tweet looks considerably worse than the temporary visitors’ room.

Imagine playing hard your entire life and making the "big show" only to end up in a elementary type gymnasium...NHL is pathetic, just like their mishandling of the NHL.tv app.

The Coyotes room reminds me of a slightly bigger version of the rooms we get for beer league hockey, lol. I actually think the visitors set up might be better, but both are sad.

That’s kind of what I was thinking as well. Even in beer league I would be annoyed by the home team setup. The visitors room isn’t so bad really, it’s just not a pretty permanent setup. But the players should be fully capable of doing their business in that space.

I’m sure in 40 years when the worlds gone to hell - players from these four clubs will be telling their grandchildren about that brutal night back in ‘22 that they had to spend getting ready for a game in an unattractive temporary locker room space.

Actually - I take that back - this is causing far more trauma for internet posters than it is for the actual players so maybe it’s in 40 years, HFB posters will be telling their descendants about that awful night in ‘22 when they were forever scarred seeing the temporary facilities that millionaire hockey players were being forced to endure for one game.

I was thinking the same thing. "why do the visitors get the better room"?

I played in the roller hockey national championship tournament in Las Vegas in 1997 and that is exactly how the locker rooms were set up there...a curtained off area and chairs. That was a U16 roller hockey tournament 25 years ago and now NHL teams have to suffer through that? Yikes.

The NHL should've stepped in here and negotiated a deal with the Phoenix Suns arena (don't know what it's called now but I know it used to be America West Arena).

This is just ... I mean, look first world problems and all that, but it's embarrassing, lol.
It’s called Footprint Arena now and..

1) the current owner doesn’t want the Coyotes there.

AND

2) it would be worse than the Islanders going back to Barclays in a number of ways.
