I love that this post went completely unnoticed. Ignore it and post more outrage!Hey it could be a lot worse and its only 4 games. When the Flames moved to Calgary from Atlanta in 1980 they played their first 3 seasons in the ancient rinky dink 6500 seat Stampede Corral which was built in 1950. That whole building is tiny and so are the dressing rooms. Spartan too. Mountain out of a mole hill folks... mountain out of a mole hill.
History left behind: A look inside the Stampede Corral
My friend and I went to see the Calgary Hitmen and Prince Albert Raiders play in the Stampede Corral. It was the final game of a three-game series for the Hitmen in the Corral. We couldn’t believe …calgaryjournal.ca
Do they really deserve better?I love it, this is awesome. Sorry Yotes fans, you deserve so much better. f*** you Bettman.
Players had side jobs back in those days. The pro sports landscape was totally different then and now. This setup for NHL teams in preseason would be noteworthy.I love that this post went completely unnoticed. Ignore it and post more outrage!
So what, it's one game for 4 teams, hockey players couldn't care less. What they will like is all the hot women from ASU and Scottsdale, that will be epic, trust me players are going to like it, no city in the NHL can match that
Visitors dressing room ready to go!
This is fundamentally the same as a normal visitors locker room… just uglier. As a temporary space, it’s not that bad.
TBH the Coyotes’ own room in this tweet looks considerably worse than the temporary visitors’ room.
The Coyotes room reminds me of a slightly bigger version of the rooms we get for beer league hockey, lol. I actually think the visitors set up might be better, but both are sad.
I’m sure in 40 years when the worlds gone to hell - players from these four clubs will be telling their grandchildren about that brutal night back in ‘22 that they had to spend getting ready for a game in an unattractive temporary locker room space. This is fundamentally the same as a normal visitors locker room… just uglier. As a temporary space, it’s not that bad.

I was thinking the same thing. "why do the visitors get the better room"?This is fundamentally the same as a normal visitors locker room… just uglier. As a temporary space, it’s not that bad.

I enjoyed reading this post so much, I read it twice. So 4x.I played in the roller hockey national championship tournament in Las Vegas in 1997 and that is exactly how the locker rooms were set up there...a curtained off area and chairs. That was a U16 roller hockey tournament 25 years ago and now NHL teams have to suffer through that? Yikes.
Cool, glad you took the time. Your quote shows 1 post.I enjoyed reading this post so much, I read it twice. So 4x.
It’s called Footprint Arena now and..The NHL should've stepped in here and negotiated a deal with the Phoenix Suns arena (don't know what it's called now but I know it used to be America West Arena).
This is just ... I mean, look first world problems and all that, but it's embarrassing, lol.
The fact you’re quoting me knows the shit you pulled in your post. I won’t forget.Cool, glad you took the time. Your quote shows 1 post.
They’re in the process of that now…. About a mile and a half down the street in about 3 years.Pathetic. Relocate this franchise already.
