I guess that's the passport part of it. I do find that uncomfortable.

Didn't the bible say something about end of times and people getting the mark of the beast .. if everyone gets the vaccine and everyone has to carry ID... dun dun dun.... the Bible was right!!! :sarcasm:

Do you mind carrying a drivers license?

Brought back flashes of memories, "Ladies and Escorts."

A female couldn't go into a bar without a male escort, whether they had an ID card or not.

I guess we've reached the point where you go on ignore. I did my best to try and deal with your emotional posts and childish comments but here we are. PLONK!

Here it is. Backdoor immunity passports starting everywhere.

Fully vaccinated people can skip Covid quarantines, CDC says - CNN

CDC is high or what? vaccinated people can still infect other people. Or this a passive aggressive ploy to kind of force vaccinations?

vaccine prevents you from getting severely sick/dying but does not prevent the spread was the outcome of every vaccine (Pfizer, Morderna, etc...)

really pisses me off when proper information is not passed on to the general public

I think a lot of people would have preferred a strict 56 day lockdown at the beginning to eliminate the virus. A lot of people quarantined for more than 56 days anyways.

People in NZ are out and about; they had new years parties; normal christmas etc....

Canadian leadership regardless of political party is absolutely f***ing disgraceful.

Globe and Mail investigative piece basically said that PHAC did not have subject matter experts but bilingual morons who had no expertise in public health.

I think we need educated electorate to elect good people into offices instead of dumbasses.

Good golly someone's a little sensitive today.. there was nothing emotional about my post, nothing, I was making light of the silly conspiracy theories that follow this Pandemic ... if you are actually that sensitive maybe its best you do put me on block... cheers.

Is this a hardship?

A lot easier than having to clean your sidewalks within 24 hours of a snowfall, every snowfall. Of course no one is forced to buy a house. If you don't want to take care of your sidewalk don't buy a house where there are property responsibilities.

I think I agree with you but I really don't understand what point you were making ... ;)

How do we know someone is fully vaccinated? Do they stamp your voter ID card.
I would assume that the dept. of health that gave you the vaccination would provide something (a record, proof, whatever). I guess I'm going to find out soon as I'm registered and scheduled for the vaccine now.

Canada had a (yellow) vaccination book years back that was used for Canadians doing international travel. I still have mine. It was issued by Health & Welfare Canada - Medical Services (dept. has probably been renamed now). I don't know, but maybe they institute something like that? That could be more specific to people traveling internationally though.

Is that what they did in the UK? On Jan 7th they had 52k cases and only 12k on Feb 9.

He thinks you are asking too many questions...

.

They so badly want to be able to monitor people legally and this is a perfect opportunity. This isn’t paranoia, it’s reality

How do they make sure you get two doses of the same inoculations?

There's a table in the book that doctors fill out when they give a vaccination. It records the type of vaccination (manufacturer & batch number), date, doctor, etc. There are boxes to check off for "primary vaccination" & "revaccination".

I would assume they could pretty much just reuse or duplicate this (with maybe some minor modifications) if they wanted to.

All you get is a little hand written card from the cdc and depending on which state you live in the data will be automatically uploaded to the immunization registry. Your medical provider can see it in the EHR and keep up with.

..but ...but why?

lots of reasons really. Look at smartphones. You simply talk about something and than you start getting ads on not only your phone, but pc as well. That’s messed up. Everything they do is to make it easier to track people, what they spend their money on etc. Cash will be obsolete some day. Now this vaccine nonsense. I keep up to date with my MMR etc, but this one is different to me. The whole rollout seemed rushed.

In TN,AL, AR and MS When you make your original appointment you print, or download to your phone, a barcode that ties you to a date, time and the site you’ll receive your shot. You must have that barcode when you show up. When they administer the 1st dose the vaccine information is then stored in your record. When it’s time to schedule your 2nd dose you are sent a reminder, you pick your date and time and you get second dose barcode to print or download. Follow the same steps.

They also give you a CDC vaccine record card when you get the first dose that has the vaccine information (see my post above) that you must bring to second dose appointment.

After each dose the record is automatically sent to the immunization registry where people can log in and see their entire vaccination history and schedule.

Ya, I just filled out a form giving consent to give my info to the immunization registry.

There are other aspects of this that are of greater interest to me. Whatever happens within a state is fine, but some folks need to cross borders (e.g., family) and have more than one citizenship. I'm curious as to how this plays out.

BTW, if you knew the answer to the question, why did you ask the question about it (e.g. voter registration cards)?

They hired Deloitte to create/manage a database of Canadians who have been vaccinated for COVID19 ... it floats in da clouds and can be assessed by anyone who has access to public health records like DRS offices ... bottom line it is another way to track all of us and make sure you get your booster shot every year likely

I remember a grade ?12? political history course where one topic was the suggestion that knowledge should be taken into consideration when it comes to voting.

An example, when voting about health issues if you had knowledge of the subject, your vote would have more weight than others who knew nothing about health/medicine.

Our system doesn't require much beyond age.

Okay, been decades but while it said you probably could have better decisions made, it was not exactly democratic.

Yes that's what da public gets but CDC has a complete database on everyone who gets a COVID19 shot with Deloitte up in da clouds which they can access

In reality you can’t. Hopefully in a few months it won’t even matter for in state travel, but to get into the country everyone should have some proof of vaccination.
