Next beers on you

Really? I've been making dad jokes since the day I joined and now you drop that? Frankly, you've been slacking lately. You are better than this. Look, just because you aged out of the prospect poll and have to pass through waivers doesn't guarantee you anything. I don't see any fanbase on the main board talking about picking you up after roster cutdowns.

For a show that ended up being about so many different characters, it really did start to fall apart after Fiona left.
That's PRECISELY when it went off the rails. There's only so many times a white trash family can get away with some scheme, or heartbreak, or family problem before it gets old. I loved that show but when she left, it sucked. It even kinda sucked her last season too but it got even worse.

Those upset by thr Dune news can content themselves by watching the Dune movie from the 1980s. Aside from the seamless and very natural looking special effects the movie did a great job telling a multi volume story in about two hours. It’s not at all a jumbled mess whose only memorable moment is Sting yelling “Send in the floating fat man!!” To be fair he yelled that line with gusto.
Aside from Star wars, Marvel and other cinematic product.

How popular Linch is in US? Is there fans of Twin Peaks and his movie stuff?

Lynch definitely has his fans. My son is taking a film class at college and was worried he’d have to watch Eraserhead again.
Ahaha) Watched it only once. I like to rewatch some of his thrillers like Lost Highway or Mulholland drive, but some of his works aren’t as attractive for repeat viewing.

He’s got a lot of fans here and his stature only grows with each year.

I love Mulholland Drive - to me it’s the culmination of all his themes and was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had in a theater. I think the first season of Twin Peaks and The Return are also great.

His other stuff is uneven, some of it boring, but I enjoy it. But the other thing is that he’s a great example of an artistic life well lived. Super positive, good to the people around him and fairly prolific.

Finished the first season of The Bear. Holy shit, what a good show. I don’t know who is at FX taking these chances with this one and Atlanta (not to mention other stuff over the years) but good on them. Legit think there is an argument that FX > HBO the last decade.

Lost highway is my favorite.Overall he is very good director.

Atlanta is the best tv series I watched in last times. I liked the Bear, but I really hate girl character) and everything around her. How she was written, how characters react with her and what conclusions are the screenwriters trying to draw. Overall it’s a good show.

Star Trek Lower Decks just hit a 10/10 joke right up there with the best of Silicon Valley and the mean jerk time gag.

S2 Ep4. Two mugato's going at it and the mate of the female instead of challenging the other male to fight motions them to carry on while he enjoys watching.

I lost it when he started stroking his horn.

Can't believe that made it in the show lmao.

Ahsoka just ain’t doing it for me. It’s fine I guess but the writing and directing are really holding it back. Which is weird cause Filoni helmed multiple amazing episodes of Clone Wars that were vibrant and fun. This current series seems to have had all the joy sucked out of it.

Star Wars should not be this bland.

Explain please
The place Ahsoka ends up at the end of the episode is known as the World Between Worlds, which is basically a place with pathways through time and space in the Force, which is why she sees what looks like Clone Wars era Anakin. In Rebels Ezra pulls Ahsoka through a doorway into the WBW, saving her from getting killed by Vader.

Theoretically they could use the WBW as kind of a multiverse retcon tool to wipe the sequels out, or de-canonize them but I think that's wishful thinking by people who hate what Disney has done since acquiring the property.
