At what point do they fire they entire medical staff? I mean, Kappy was just unlucky, but Jesus Christ. It is EVERY FREAKING YEAR!

Yea it’s literally every year. New players come in who are historically fairly healthy and miss 10-15 games at least every time. Malkin and Letang are just injury prone athletes at this point but the rest?

They absolutely have to make a trade now, right? I mean you can’t expect to make the playoffs icing 6 minor league forwards for like 2 weeks.

Since the Pens' injury jinx inflicts usually healthy players prior to becoming Pens, we should try a reverse jinx by acquiring *only* players with extensive injury histories and turn them into ironmen.

Can't help but think of (retired) Sami Salo, and how by this logic he would be an iron man here.

I get the sentiment, but they're not suffering soft tissue injuries. It's not hamstrings and groins.

You can't do much to prevent injuries that come from a guy landing awkwardly in the boards like Zucker, taking a shot to the ankle like Kapanen, getting hit illegally like Blueger, or going knee to knee like Malkin.
