Mid season record comparison - Last 3 years.

2022-23 ... 41 games 25 wins 9 losses 7 OTL = 57 points [Murray & Samsonov]
vs.
2021-22 ... 41 games 28 wins 10 losses 3 OTL = 59 points [Campbell & Mrazek]
2020-21 ... 41 games 28 wins 10 losses 3 OTL = 59 points [Andersen & Campbell]
Dishonest posts as usual. Conveniently leaving out that our 4th stringer has played 10 games this year to this point.

Record with Murray/Samsonov:

32 games - 22 wins - 7 losses - 3 OTL = 47 points (a 120 point pace)

Interesting info from Kevin Woodley, goaltending expert for InGoal Magazine. The same guy who told us prior to the start of the season, Murray was changing his game to adapt to changes in the game.

Never doubted Murray's ability to bounce back.

Pretty obvious this is his "return to form" year, a couple bad games isn't going to sway my opinion of that.

I'm not suggesting they do it, but Woll's performance must be gaining some notice throughout the league. If there's a team struggling in net, and is selling at the TDL, I'd have to think his value in a potential trade is rising.

Yeah that's tough. If they think they have something here it's tough to give up a young goalie who could give us an ELC contract in goal saving the cap for skaters and getting a good backup.

Would depend on the deal to me. If he takes the place of a good prospect in a deal for a guy like Chychrun or something I say do it.

I can't suggest for who or to where, just that his play has to be gaining notice. 9 games in a row is impressive, as are the numbers backing up the wins.

I don't get to see the Marlies, is it correct to believe his 'game' looks as good as his numbers?

Would also depend upon the views Dubas and Keefe hold regarding Kallgren as the next in line (for the backup role during any potential time of need).

Nope, simply that his value must be increasing were he to become available. Specifically said, "I'm not suggesting they do it", anyway, confusion cleared. Cheers
I did see that you weren’t for it. :thumbu:
Can’t imagine anyone would be for moving him.
That of course could change by years end.

Your post makes a lot of sense.

I agree we shouldn't trade him and also agree that his value is rising. If Samsonov prices himself out (or falls flat on his face in the second half), Woll's play might play him into the backup role for the Leafs next year.
