the kraken slapped the shit out of colorado. colorado dumpster dived for a goaltender once again and they found out what happens in the playoffs when you dumpster dive for goaltending and the officials do not give you a 2to1 PP to PK ratio. Kraken's 2nd goal was a pure swiss cheese softie and they never recovered.

No the difference tonight was that the Kraken got great goaltending and the officiating did not make the Avs their honorary zebra and feed them ridiculous totals of PPs like they've done for years. Kraken plays the same type of game Avs played 2-3 years ago - give it all in the first series. Avs learned their lesson but there is no one to teach Kraken Any team that wins this series won't make to the finals.

Yes, the refalanche did get out-goalied tonight. The fact still remains that this was not the reason they lost. They lost because their skaters forgot how to hockey. They did not deserve to win this game and the results show that outcome of their effort.

The second half of your post is completely accurate however, and I will give you props on that one.

You take a lot of (usually warranted if maybe a little extreme) flack from Avs fans and if we are destined to lose this, in some wierd way I almost hope it is a craken sweep so that you may live on in infinite glory to help sustain you through the inevitably long rebuild of the blues. I feel like this would sustain your need for hockey greatness and would provide much comedy with the banter you would have with hf Avs posters.
