I have no clue the Leauge a motivations and won’t pretend do so.

I’m not gonna go re-read what you posted but when you say he was targeting like it was a rule. I read the rule. Targeting is going for a players head.

Was a bad hit, deserves a suspension, league is “trying to get rid of that hit”
Like I said you are arguing nuance and not rule.
No it is not. Targeting was a term used in rule 48 hit to head. It is no longer used in that rule. Targeting is an action. A person is targeting something. It doesn't have to be the head.

Anyway I'm done.

I'm not sure Colorado loses game 5 if Makar is playing (I have no issue with his suspension) and therefore may have been over in 6. Shouldn't matter at all what game of a series is coming up in determining suspensions. Cogliano was a big part of the bottom end of the lineup and the only line other than the 1st that was actually working. If they don't get that support in this game they aren't winning.

I'm not going to blame the series on that if they lose as they could have chosen to give a shit from game 1. But it's just embarrassing for the league.

The sad part is that Cogs was likely to retire at the end of the year one way or another, so it's a bit somber that this'll likely be the last play of his career.

In any case, the DoPS said that because they determined the play didn't warrant supplemental discipline prior to learning of the severity of the injury, and that the injury itself didn't matter. Quite suspect reasoning since it seems highly unlikely Makar would have been suspended had McCann either popped right up or returned later in the game.

It's not a conspiracy, but rather an organization that's highly unprofessional, doesn't have consistent standards, and basically makes it up as they go along. We've known this for years.

Lol yeah. Literally the only reason the Makar thing was looked at at all was because of the unlucky injury.

Maybe the pollers were onto something?lol This was the only result that favored the Kraken as most had this over in 4, 5 or 6.

This is the least stressful Game 7 I've ever experienced. I want my boys to win, and they can win, but Seattle is a good team and the injury bug (and Val apparently being a bit of a degen) has nipped the Avs. I still think the Avs are the better team and showed their quality in Game 6, but here's hoping the prove it tonight!

And no injuries on either side please!

I think Gourde and Kartye will do something significant today. Happens to be Kartye's birthday

I hope they make Eberle pay the price.
And when they do. They'll get kicked out and make it that much easier for Kraken to win.

You can't check someone against the boards unless you target them. It's a pretty flimsy definition.
I don't believe I've ever typed "flimsy before

This will be an interesting one tonight.

The Avs will certainly try to come out flying and trying to establish their game.
The Kraken will need to weather the storm and keep on doing their thing rolling those lines and playing their semi trap.

Hope for a good game and nothing stupid happening today + no more injuries to anyone.
