They've lost all 4 seven game series they've been in since they won a Stanley 20 years ago. They're still playing in the first round.
So superior is a bit grandiose.
They had to give everything they had last night. I doubt they have that much left to give.

This was not a situation where the player turns into the board at the last second before the hit. Eberle knew perfectly what he was doing. I'm sure he didn't want to fracture his neck but he had plenty of time to see Cogs was in a very vulnerable position.
