Avs have gotten three goals from the bottom nine forwards in six games. If Seattle aren't able to expose the lack of depth, some other team will sooner rather than later.

Glad to see Toews and Makar bounce back though.

Dallas will for sure. Still wont count Seattle out, Game 7s and avs are a Special love Story.

Watching a series versus Seattle exhuming repressed memories of Broncos road games at the Kingdome. Could be the most miserable depressing place I've seen and I've been to Verdun.

But there's also this:

Game 7 should be a good one. 6 was the first one where the Avalanche looked like they actually wanted to be there. If that team shows up again they should be in the driver's seat, but puck luck can always ruin that. Honestly I kind of expect the Kraken will want this one more though.

Avs haven't won a game 7 since 02.

But then again they were the second round chokers until the blues ran their trash goalie and had a mental meltdown, so I guess anything can happen!

I don't think people realize how big of a loss Landeskog is to Colorado. They should still beat Seattle though.
And Nichushkin as well. I don't have the numbers but the Avs' record with Nuke out of the lineup is really bad. Landy and Nuke are the Avs' best two top-6 defensive forwards and #3 and #4 offensively. They go to dirty areas, win a ton of battles, best two providing screens in front of the goalies, deflections, and in Landy's case brings a ton of leadership. That the Avs played so well defensively last night in Game 6 is a testament to Bednar's coaching abilities and system.

With that said...the Avs don't do well in games 7. Hopefully they turn that around tomorrow. I am also sure Seattle will bring everything they have got in that game. They play better on the road than at home this year. The Avs will need a huge game from Georgie. It will be a close one IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes to OT.

So it's Monday and not Sunday then?
Extra day of rest for game 7?
Nevermind, it's Sunday, I see

Yes, Colorado won. But they were falling in pain left and right all over the rink.
As said by those above, they are missing good close out players and the numerology of game 7s is not kind to them.
The Kraken are road warriors and this is the ultimate road game.
I'm thinking Gourde does something significant.
And it's Tye Kartye's birthday tomorrow. He may contribute big again.

Lmao what kind of nonsense is this. The two teams were separated by less than 4 wins in the regular season. The Avs are missing their team Captain.

This doesn't even come close to the biggest upset of the last 10 years, let alone 50.
It's like that bloke entirely forgot about '95 Red Wings and '19 Lighting against Blue Jackets. You can add the '03 Might Ducks upsetting the Red Wings. Those were just three that randomly came up in my mind with no effort. @SeanMoneyHands use your neurons blud.

You do realize a game 7 is being played, or are you just behind on the updates?

You were wrong, just like everyone else except those who picked 7 games.
Notice the words- very close to a truth that may transpire. The Kraken winning in 6 or 7 games..only a select few picked that.
The obvious point is I/we are not that far off.

No, the obvious point is that you were wrong, and you're coping to think you're "close"
Another troll.
I thought hockey fans were supposed to be smarter and less childish.
Yes, Captain obvious. Wrong about the exact game, 6 or 7. Not wrong about the fact it would go beyond 5 games. And as of yet, not wrong about the possible victor= got more right than the majority who worship the Avalanche.
Take care, bro.

Fam, I voted Avs in 5 so I am clearly wrong, but you were also totally wrong. You can't play this hindsight-bias game now.
I can in fact play a hindsight bias game because my pick is closer to the truth than yours. That's all I'm saying. I'm not pretending it's correct.
Has basic deduction and critical thought just been lost altogether in American education?

Hey if you had said "The series will go at least 4 games, and Seattle or Colorado will win" you'd be 100% right! Take some solace in that at least my guy.

Hurts the power play not having them on the goalie.
