Habs got a “meh” return for Toffoli. A late first and a B level, so-so prospect and a cap dump. That’s really backing up the Brinks truck alright. Toffoli has three years of term left. Giroux is a rental with full NMC. He’ll fetch less.

the Avs equivalent is an offer of a 2023 1st, JT Compher and Bowers.

Usually I don't trust Dater at all, but there's been too much smoke and lots of talk from other sources stating mutual interest. Also sounds like Philly may be leaking division rivals as other options to try to drive up the price.

Yep. But if flyers can get a 2023 1st and Barron better than just holding onto him till he is a ufa to prove a point. If they can’t get a 1st and a good prospect don’t move him. Ppl saying new hook or byram are out to lunch but there has to be a happy middle ground.

what part of rental and full nmc don’t you grasp? If he’ll only go to Avs or Wild, that’s one of two spots competing. Maybe.
