Yes, Barron. Sounds as though he will be a low reach -5-6 dman. Those are abundant. We have Sanheim, Ellis, York, Zamula, Provovov longterm right now. We could use RHD, but still not trying to go for a guy with what I have heard so far. Haven’t seen him play though honestly. Personally, I would go for guys that could replace those 5. Don’t see Barron there.

I have no horse in this race but I don't get it from a Colorado pov. Acquiring a 2nd pair d, bottom 6 forward, and maybe a 3rd string goalie will cost them something like a 1st, 3rd, 6th. Whereas acquiring Giroux would cost them more than that.

But which one of those trades makes Colorado better? They don't need more offense.
