We all saw this guy and waited for years to see him finally put it all together.
This will likely be one of, if not the best goal scoring yer of his career. He’s getting the bounces, working hard, and making his own luck.
Keep the pedal on the floor kreids.
Gallants got him motivated.
Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if healthy, he scores 40 this year.
That at least will silence the turds on the main boards that say he’s incapable of being a 30 goal guy or a first line winger.
Stats lie in my opinion. I do not even know if this is his best season. He has been a 30 goal scorer in my eye. 20 in 50 games? 24 in 63 games? Those are 30 goal pace seasons. Plus his two previous 28 goal seasons. I'm happy for him but I also enjoyed his seasons flying down the wing for breakaways, scoring on snap shots, being a physical force and scoring 21-22 goals at even strength. The guys that degrade him on the main board would be thrilled if their teams got him. Speed, power, hitting, great attitude, a force in front of the net? Guys like that do not grow on trees.

If only Mika could stop being a play killer... that'd be great

CK looks like s totally different player. If Mika could get his head out of his ass, that like could do some serious work

Not talked about as much but he's been phenomenal defensively and on the PK
I'm eating crow complaining about Kreider's contract. I considered him too one dimensional, not enough quality in passing, falling invisible in too many games, etc... I mean, I didn't exactly hack it down, but I didn't exactly cheer for it either.

Well... I don't know who has possessed Kreider, but I hope that possession will remain. What he heck? He has been absolutely amazing! To my defense, this version of Kreider is nothing like I've ever seen before. Let's hope his confidence will grow from this to a new level of consistency for him what he can do.

I'm also eating crow. I really thought that contract would come back to bite us. Still would like to see if he can keep it going for the whole season. Consistency has been his issue his entire career. His play seems like it is sticking this time around. Positive sign.

Honestly what impresses me most I’m not just the goals it’s his overall defensive game. If you go back to his first few years I think we can all agree that defense wasn’t his strength. However over the past few years his defense has improved dramatically and he has become one of our best on the PK.
