The opinion of the referee is that the hit wasn't late, which does in fact make your opinion wrong

As someone who feels the hit was barely late if at all, and that if there was contact to the head it came well after the contact with the arms/shoulders...just cause a ref says something doesn't mean they're right.

Bruins fans definitely whine more than I ever thought. I'm not sure if it was like that during 2011 playoffs as I just watched hockey and cheered for them to win, not read these boards.

That would actually be a pretty solid fight id think... but because of the score I don't think Ritchie had interest in fighting... not even sure he realized backes was hurt, he seemed confused people were mad in the first place.

Only problem i had with Chara going after Getz was the fact the refs got involved instantly. LAME. let the big men fight!!!. and Chara's last punch he knew damn well Getz was tied up. He knows that was a cheap shot. But who gonna do anything about it? no one ....

Complain about a clean hit? Then imply Getzlaf turtled when a ref got in there before anything happened? Just disappointed I guess.

Did the DOPS even look at the hit? I have been trying to find out...unsuccessfully.
