Based on the guys that both men have fought (McQuaid’s list is much more extensive), gotta say that Ritchie would have had his hands full.

Well id hope mcquaids list is more extensive hes been in the league for a while longer, but Ritchie is a pretty tough customer.

I think it would be a good fight... didn't say Ritchie would win or mcquaid would win just a good overall matchup.

Complain about a clean hit? Then imply Getzlaf turtled when a ref got in there before anything happened? Just disappointed I guess.
Ritchie will get nothing for his hit as it was shoulder to shoulder hit (that you guys try to pawn off as head hit with a ****ty gif).

A late hit. And then sure Getzlaf didn't come out sparkly clean when 1) he slashed Chara and then 2) he matched every step Chara made: Chara 1 step forward, Getzlaf 1 step back... And so on... Cowardly slash & backpedaling. Just disappointed there.

I’m guessing that Koci (a much more accomplished fighter than Getzlaf) probably wished that all Chara did was hug??

Ritchie has averaged 1-2 fights a year so far. His highest total was 3 in the OHL.

McQuaid has fought 5 times minimum each year in the NHL and as many as 12 times (13 in the AHL).

Ritchie may have been a good match for McQuaid, but I guess we will never know because he turned down the invitation (which should probably tell you something)??
