Time for a response now from the offence. Even a field goal would be helpful.MBT trying to run the clock since the half. Be better dude.
Playign with fire here, another two and out. Cats sitting on the run on first down and then the second and long not going great.Cats have woken up. Don't go Jonesing on us...
It’s been a perfect storm. In a short period of time, we’ve parted ways with Chris Jones AND the Board. Like winning a lottery. I’ve never met Larry Thompson but I love that guy!Its like the "Jones" weight has been lifted from everyone's shoulders--including the fans.
Reminds me of a Mafia Don.
There’s the big play you were asking for.Stop. Starting. With. The. Run.
Wow that was incredible and lucky at the same time.Mayala!
Since the turnaround they’ve scored 42, 33 and now 39.Can't even remember the last time the Eskimos came remotely close to 40 points.
I have a sense that there are a lot of closet fans who haven’t come out yet because the product has been awful. Give them an exciting reason to attend and they’ll come out. These are folks that have supported the team in the past and stepped away because of the shitshow it became (in the board room, on the sidelines and one the field). One of my best CFL memories is the 64,000+ crowd against the Riders in 2009. Even though the Esks lost, just being in a crowd of that size was an amazing adrenaline rush.
Hopefully we get to eventually enjoy an attendance/atmosphere boost like what BC has. But that will take years (if the league can even hold on that long).
But even in 2015 when they ran the table to finish the year, they only got about 34K to come on out for the Western Final. That game should have had WAY more than what it did.I have a sense that there are a lot of closet fans who haven’t come out yet because the product has been awful. Helps that the new owner drinks Coors and not Coors LightBut even in 2015 when they ran the table to finish the year, they only got about 34K to come on out for the Western Final. That game should have had WAY more than what it did.
It's going to take a whole reboot of off-field culture in the community in order to rebuild what the BoD destroyed.
Yes I asked the same question of you after you did if the new Elks owner, but anyway you find that offensive guess.
Over and out. You’re not worth the air.
That’s true…no argument. I may have rose-coloured glasses when I say this but winning games and hiring credible head coach and GM would be huge in making a turnaround happen. But even in 2015 when they ran the table to finish the year, they only got about 34K to come on out for the Western Final. When was the last time that either the Elks or the Eskimos won 3 in a row?
Someone on the thread will have the answer.
