so uh Jordan Dumais has 5 goals and 16 points …. in 7 games.
Mateychuk (1g+2a) was a treat to watch at times vs Regina. Based on last two games he seems to be getting his mojo back slowly, in terms of offensive impact. Both he and Svozil (1 goal) were fine tonight imo.
Mateychuk initiated the play that lead to his goal by aggressively stepping up on the blueline to deny Pats breakout attempt. It's unfortunately cut off from the highlights.

If he can produce when he gets to the AHL I'll start getting more excited. I think he's got the potential was one of the first to vote for him in the prospect vote, but he's got a long road in front of him.
But if he hits his potential...

This is a very impressive one game reel from Jiricek.
I haven't seen him look this good since before his injury and I'm thrilled and relieved that he's making progress.

@Voodoozz Are you going to do more of these game highlights from Jiricek's AHL season? 
I should learn to do them too since as a chltv subscriber I have access to all WHL game replays, I think there are plenty of people on the boards who would be appreciative of the highlights of Mateychuk and Svozil. Is it very time consuming?

As for the editing, these simple game highlights are pretty fast to make, provided you've got the full replay available. You can run through the game in like 20-30 minutes to get your clips, then you just throw then on a timeline, make some minor adjustments/cuts (5-10 minutes) and you're good to go. So 25-40 minutes of work + rendering + uploading.
It might take you a little longer when you do it for the first time, but once you get the hang of it, it gets very easy. Obviously it also depends on the software, myself I'm using Bandicam for recording and Vegas for editing/rendering.

And that's why I'm so high on him too. He may not be as likely to hit his potential, but guys like him are a lot harder to find than someone likely to make it as middling forward.
That one-timer at 2'04" was pretty nice. Not that we should call him up now, but that's one thing we're missing right now (among other things).
I love it. What a season he's having. Next season could have a major prospect influx to Columbus and Cleveland.

I forget, can we send him to Europe? Or is it really strictly Q or NHL? He makes it too easy in the Q.
I think hes fine to go to Europe. Cant 100% stand behind that statement but im fairly certain its just an AHL thing.
I think it changes if they sign an NHL contract. Then it becomes CHL or NHL.

Halifax Mooseheads are still missing one of their best forwards in L'Heureux, so in theory Dumais' offensive production can still take another step forward via improved teammates
