I had checked the boxscores of the last couple of Seattle Thunderbirds playoff games and noticed Keegan Kolesar and Sam Ruopp had not played. I was wondering if they were injured so I did a Bing search. Turns out our prospects are taking out our prospects :(

Ruopp was hit from behind in game three by Seattle forward Keegan Kolesar, who has been suspended indefinitely by the WHL

Merzlikins in game 2 of the Swiss league final, saved 47 from 48 shots, his team lost 0-1 against ''Bern'', allowed the only goal in 56. minute in the game. Here's one pretty good save.
 
Nice...if I heard the announcer correctly it was on Corey Conacher even (a former NHLer). Thanks for sharing.
 
So Kolesar was suspended two games. He has already sat one game (the last one in the first round) so he has to sit the first game of the second round.
 
Remember when we drafted Gabriel Carlsson? Haven't heard a lick of him since the world juniors. Anyone know how he's playing?
 
That's not bad, but doesn't really show us how he's playing. But +4 over 45 games is a good sign.
 
So at the beginning of the season Anton Forsberg was ranked as our #6 prospect while Joonas didn't even make the ballot until #14 and finally got voted at #16. Would it be safe to reconsider those rankings now?

Kudos to CBJWennberg41 who started suggesting him as the "add" starting at Prospect #6 and never wavered.

I watching now third final game of Swiss play off and Merzlikins is a beast right now. What doing with him? Me wonder see Elvis in LEM next season, but... Bob,McBackup,Korpi have a contract, Forsberg RFA and will be resign.Tessien after strong perfomance second half season will be resign too(i hope). Still one year in the Swiss championship may to stop right development of Merzlikins or not? I dunno.
Maybe KHL option?
 
An extra year in Europe didn't hurt Korpi...I doubt it would hurt Elvis.
 
If Elvis is dead set on coming to NA next year, he could always play in the ECHL. Holtby did it.

NLA is better and stronger as a league w/o doubt. Sixth month ago i read Dispatch article where Keka said that they do not plan to pull out Merzlikins to NA next season, but Elvis show strong perfomance in second half of the championship and in PO. I will be very interestingly to look at him in LEM jersey, but apparently to a season it is delayed.It's a pity!

I wouldn't trade him just yet. It is an option, but I would like to wait until Korpisalo is more proven and we know who our backup will be.
