A stud defensively and ideally someone with experience yeswell apparently you have to sacrifice it all for RHD, isn't that what Parekh is?

Could beSome here are due for a rude awakening if they think we can land a top pairing RD. I doubt you would be ready to trade the pieces it would need (hint: it’s not gonna be Dach and a late first pick).
Depends what you look for. A guy like Sergachev maybe Dach+ 1st. But not a top 15D in the league if this is what they want.Could be
So what deal could KH make to move the needle

Like Rasmuss Anderson? Or Seth Jone? Dach and 1st would maybe work (my first post meant to saw one or the other). Maybe a B prospect on topWhat you think they look for?
I say a tougher, block shot d man, stay at home defenseman
Probably because I don’t understand top pairing RHD right. I saw that as your #1 defenseman elite. You're being extremely reductive. A soon to be first time UFA, of suitable value, will be sold for much less. The job to be done in that case is rather related to being able to retain such a talent, rather than pay up in assets for a players who's already signed long term.
Not a lot of teams could help with our need. Therefore, I would like Stephenson and Larsson from the Kraks

If we talk about Andersson or Jones, as RHD that can play on a first pairing but not #1 on a contender maybe, but a true top pair I’m pretty sure the price would be higher than 30 points C bad at faceoff and in his own zone, or a first round pick in the 20s
In fact there isn’t a lot of top pairing (or elite whatever you want to call it) RHD in the league hence why I am saying the cost would be really high for them.
Pietrangelo wasn’t traded, he signed as UFA to Vegas?Look at what Pietrangelo was traded for. Stop the fearmongering. It all depends on the player's contract status and the trading team's finances and position. The right opportunity might not cost a lot in assets, but rather dishing out a big contract, which we will be in good position to do. We need to wait for that right opportunity, but it's bound to happen.
…An Interesting absolute anchor of a contract for a middle pair D at best?Seth Jones would be interesting

You probably would find more takers for Lane, than teams willing to give up what you're looking for. They just didn't draft with hit, block, clear the crease as a priority. It's not the way they want to play it seems.I want a hard nosed d man to play with Lane
Hit, block , clear the crease

Should of went all in on Chris Tanev last summer
He's more a 7th d than a bottom pair d imo.Emberson is a forgettable bottom pair RD, not the level the Habs need.
Also needs to be mobile with good puck retrieval skills.I want a hard nosed d man to play with Lane
