Benning would have signed him to a 4x4 NMC
Honestly if he can score on the power play I think this is a win. That second half of the season was so infuriating to watch. Nothing wrong with having a pp specialist imo
Why not both?69 or bust
Checking the current Canuck roster on Puck-pedia, I just don't see how there's going to be any room for the likes of Raty, Bains, Karlsson and Sasson.
I'm pretty sure Karlsson will have to be exposed to waivers, and I'm equally sure Raty is exempt. Not sure of the status of Sasson or Bains.
Trying to attach Podz or Hogs to move Poolmans contract is a very dumb move, something Benning would do.I think you probably attach Hogs or Podz to Poolman to move that contract, and maybe pick up Kylington for cheap, then see how things roll. There will be cap space to spare potentially for an in-season upgrade on the blueline.

You use a mid to late round pick to move on from a single LTIR year of Poolman, you don’t attach young NHL players unless you’re getting something decent in return. Not really
There never was. It was pure lip service.Checking the current Canuck roster on Puck-pedia, I just don't see how there's going to be any room for the likes of Raty, Bains, Karlsson and Sasson.

still maintain it was lip service. None of those players were/are anything more than injury call ups atm.It wasn’t lip service but plans changed when no elite players they wanted became available.
Debrusk is a more of an offensive guy who learned to play defense. Don't know much about Sprong, him being on so many teams in a short time in worrisome.Sprong - Pettersson - Debrusk stylistically kind of feels like Mikheyev - Pettersson - Kuzmenko take two.
I think Tocchet would happily use him in a home game against a team with a 4th line that was weak offensively. In some other situations he may sit.I saw a video circulating a few months ago going over why he doesn’t play more and he looked like prime whiney JT, current Ovie, Zegras, etc, in his own end. Just zero commitment and focus on defending.
You would think the improvement needs to be significant and also quick for Tocchet to utilize him. Like would Tocchet use him instead of PDG, Podkolzin, Aman types in a fourth line role if he’s controller disconnecting? Strongly doubt it
