It’s the same as “reserved”. Just an in-joke. The original joke is that the Canucks are too cowardly to sign Wolanin to an extension and that’s a silly thing to say.

If Livingstone is a no-go then I’m happy with Malinski. Main issue I have is that’s a very small defensive unit. Hughes, Bear, and Malinski are all under 6’ and Hronek is only 6’.

Meh. Most of these top guys are being wooed by almost every team. Odds are pretty long that we land them. If on average we get a couple of the mid level guys it’s probably better than what should be expected.

With the way everything is shaking out, both sides need an injection of talent.

I’d say we need both sides equally now with the Hronek trade, OEL declining, and Rathbone looking like he isn’t going to be an NHL player.

yeah the canucks need depth everywhere but left defense is i think their strongest position with rathbone, truscott, jurmo, pettersson and kudrayatsev.
