Skinner-Thompson-Tuch
JJ-Cozens-Quinn
Greenway-Mitts-Savoie
XXX- Krebs- XXX

I wouldn't overcomplicate things. Savoie should slot in 3RW top 6 is set. Let Mitts try to drive the 3rd line as C if that fails Krebs will be 3C and mitts 3LW. Last two slots are plugs or girgs/Okposo.

I don't think we're going to wind up going into next season without an FA acquisition in the top-9 but if we do, I would be salivating at Krebs moving up and Greenway going down with Girgensons and Okposo if he chooses to stay (or he can retire, I really don't have a preference).

The organization surely doesn't think Krebs is going to top out as a fourth-liner. He's still young and has the pedigree, work ethic, and talent to be more than that. Putting him and Mitts with Savoie against the weakest defensive pairings would be akin to the old Vanek-Roy-Afinogenov or Kotalik-Connolly-Afinogenov lines. Just a trio of offensively savvy players creating opportunities.

Great passing play as he drives the middle and goes to the net. Benson then feeds McClennon who just can't quit get it to settle, all of them wind up in the crease and the puck never finds the back of the net.

Moves it to Sward who finds McClennon all freaking alone in front of the net, he goes backhand to forehand and it's 2-1. Savoie gets his second assist of the game.

Got hit from behind by Watterodt, resulting in a powerplay, had a couple of chances created off his stick, but the Ice didn't score. It's currently 3-2 in favor of Winnipeg with 6:59 remaining in the third.

After review, they put 0.4 seconds on the clock. The Ice were celebrating, the table and runners were on the ice... the officials ordered them off to run one final faceoff.

So how was my boy doing this season? He seems to have good stats, especially in the playoffs. Will he stay for another year in the WHL or are we already waiting for him in the NHL?

Hey Fjordy hope you're well. Savoie had an injury early in the season but lit up the league once he was healthy. Having a strong playoff as well. I think the majority of posters give him a really good chance of making the Sabres out of camp next season. He'll certainly have the opportunity to do so.

And that was after not being able to get on the ice all summer. He comes in healthy this year he leaves no doubt. Even to the most dug in doubters
I am one of his bigger fans here and I think the challenge is to find a spot for him with so many forwards coming back.

If they do move VO and/or Jost isn't re-signed, that makes the path to the roster easier for him. But, he could also look really good and there could be a challenge to find him a spot.

As options at center, they have Thompson, Cozens, Mitts, Krebs, and Jost (RFA).

I doubt he's a 4th line winger and you have these top 9 options: Skinner, Tuch, Quinn, JJP, Greenway, VO, and one of the Cs if Jost is back at C.

What is the problem of moving someone from the centers to the wing? Simply, if they decide and he shows that he is ready for the NHL, there is no point in sending him back to the WHL, and unfortunately he cannot play in the AHL.

They break him in on wing in place of Vic.

I understand but we've all heard Adams talk about keeping a path for youngsters. It would truly be mind boggling for that to be an issue with VO or Jost holding him back. Next year things could get a little hairy.
