With the new NCAA rules he can't commit to a school until August 1, 2020, and I wish there couldn't be another post on him until then, too.

Let him play some puck and we'll check in when it starts to matter.

Situation updates are fine and all but why do you got to post 7 times in a row within 30 minutes or so? Still, right now leads WSI-04 with 11 points in 4 games so that's certainly good. Connor Bedard and Adam Fantelli have both been disappointments so far, with meh scoring.

It's a bit much. I'm sure other prospects play a bunch of random tournaments throughout the summer and their threads don't get updated. Nothing will be learned from that tournament against inferior mostly competition for him.
WSI is not a random tournament and has almost all top prospects for the age group, it's the most important tournament for the age group by far.

I thought Cole Spicer looked very good today, the kid has great vision and can pass the puck through minuscule lanes.

Maddox scored 1+2 after the 0+0 game. 4 goals, 10 assists, 14 points in 5 games.

Maddox Fleming and Rutger McGroarty have been the 2 best players so far.
McGroarty is the better (at the moment) prospect thou. Is NCAA commit player too an its his 3rd WSI in a row

Fleming with 14 points (4+10)
McGroarty with 13 points (7+6)*

*McGroarty scored 3+2 in his game 5 against Upper Canada Gold

Both McGroarty and Fleming have 16 points in this tournament, McGroarty with 8 goals, 8 assists.

Minnesota Blades will face East Coast Selects-O

Blades have a really strong 1st line:
Cole Spicer-Maddox Fleming-Isaac Howard

Both Spicer (North Dakota) and Howard (Duluth) are NCAA commit players

Howard (Shattuck St.Marys, MNBEL Kings, Minnesota Blades)
in 70 games this season, 75 goals, 47 assists, 122 points (1.74 ppg)

Fleming (Rochester Mayo, MNBEL Great Plains, B15 District 9, Minnesota Blades)
in 35 games this season, 37 goals, 57 assists, 94 points (2.70 ppg)

Fleming (1+0) and Blades tournament ends, Blades loses 4-5 at the Semi's, so final is a no show.
17 points (6+11) in 8 games. - leader in tournament points (at the moment)

Some of the criticism is a bit overblown. Fleming is clearly proving to be a top prospect. You don't have to click the thread if you dont wanna read. It would be a different story if it was constant spamming for a nothing prospect, as of now, Fleming seems to be an elite prospect for his age group

It sure is. These are 2004 birthdates, who were just drafted in WHL bantam draft. Many have already committed to U.S. colleges. Heck, Ryan Fine was born in 2005 and he just committed to Boston University. As for Fleming and his fellow 2004s specifically, they are being scouted already by the USNTDP for the 2020-21 team that will be announced in less than a year. The program's scouts were watching them this year because they like to watch them for two years before selecting them. They like to get an idea of how their development is trending.

So, the upshot of all the complaining? It's from people who don't know what they're talking about.

Maddox's team, Team Black won 5-4, Maddox scored the 5-4 goal of the game.

Not the start that i hoped for but, 1 goal is just fine, Rutger McGroarty, another 2022 top prospect
who he played against, scored only 1 assist, so, yeah.
