It’s great that you keep up with the young players every game, but for a 14 year old in high school, it’s a little overboard. You do you, but don’t be surprised if he turns into nothing.

Maddox has had a some troubles scoring points in recent games,
0+0, then solid 2+3, then 1+0, and then 0+0,
his ppg is still great, 2.88, but not 3.55 nor 3.88 anymore.

But i hardly see why his pace wouldn't pick up again,
back to 3.50 range.

Last game his team lost 5-0, it was their first loss in the big nine
2nd loss overall, 9-2-2 overall record.

15+22=37 (6th in the entire league scoring, 5 points behind 2nd place)

Holy Angels (team they lost 5-0 to last night) was the best team they've played, and they're not even that good. Which is why we shouldn't put much into his numbers this year.

Talked to a guy who said he looked dangerous and played pretty well last night though.

I live in Minnesota and have seen him play a few times. His numbers for Rochester mayo may be misleading as they don’t have a very strong schedule. He is a good player who should get looks from NHL scouts, but stat watching in Minnesota hockey is very misleading at times.

Fleming looked very impressive for his grade and especially for his birth year.

Both should be locks for the program.

Played 9 games for MNBEL Great Plains, Bantam, scored 5 goals, 15 assists, 20 points (2.22 ppg)

2018-2019 totals: 23 goals, 43 assists, 66 points (2.64 ppg) as a 14 year old (turned 15 about a week after his final game)

They played NFL type of play-offs, best of 1, Mayo were eliminated straight away
Maddox Fleming didn't play in that game.

Yes, but if he doesn't make the Prep team he could play U16.

As a sophomore Nathan MacKinnon missed the cut for Prep and played U16, so either one is good.
