To be clear, Moore and Cirelli are not the same height. Moore listed at 5’11 and Cirelli 6’1. Don’t say that’s two sub 6’0 centers. It’s simply not the case.

If you are going off of the NHL's official listing, then yes, AC is 6ft1. He's also listed at 190lbs.

Moore weighs in at 194lbs as an 18yo. 4 pounds heavier, while being 2 inches shorter.

Moore is a bigger player than Cirelli.

My question is 5’11 and 6’1 that significant of a difference?

I think weight/strength is a more important factor especially when the difference in height is relatively negligible.

Cirelli is listed at 6’0 by pretty much everything bar nhl.com. Is that 1-1.5 inches the difference between something a team should never consider doing and winning two cups? Seems awfully arbitrary to me

Two inches, one inch, three inches. None of it is the difference between winning a cup and moving to wing. Its a joke take. Unsurprising.

Saw an errant Twitter post saying he looked shaky in the d-zone. Anyone that watched the game care to share their analysis?

The confusion I saw was lamb and moore on covering the point

Lamb was playing center last game
Is a right wing naturally
But was playing left wing this game with moore and snugg’s

I’d say early on teams are testing combinations on lines and pairings

The two top teams in the nation BU and Minny were putting a ton Into the blender last night

Can’t have two top 6 centers sub 6’0. Moore will be on the wing.

He got outmuscled on one play which directly led to a st Thomas goal. That’s all I remember as far as him being poor in his own zone

I don't know if he shoots it well enough to be a legit NHL top-6 guy, but there is no doubt he will be a very good NHL player even if it's as a 3rd line guy. It's not just his speed - it's his motor which goes nonstop in all 3 zones. I didn't see the game last night so I can't comment on any defensive lapses but from everything I've read he plays a good 200' game which would mean he's defensively responsible.

It would’ve been scary even without bedard imo. So much talent it has to work.

Nothing is guaranteed, of course, but having Bedard, Reichel, Nazar, Moore and 4 more 1st round picks over the next couple years with at least one of them being top-10, possibly top-5 is a nice start on the rebuild.

All that is great - but I think the key to the rebuild being successful is the backend which looks very promising with Korchinski, Kaiser and Vlassic in the Hawks lineup now, and looking very good, with several more coming up behind them.

The Bedard thing was luck but I have to admit the rest was well done. Hope it fails but I doubt it. As a Canucks fan I hope Moore tops out as a 3C because that's one of the guys we could've had.
