There is probably something behind the scenes we don't know about but I do not like this move for the Caps.

He scored pretty well when you consider the extremely limited TOI they gave him. He can break away and score at any moment. I guess Ethan Frank brings that as well.

Meh.

He does this everywhere he goes, no? National team he got benched, Washington moved on from him, then Detroit, then St Louis, now back to Washington. Seems like skill has never been his issue. Wish the best for him but he must be running out of chances, or close to it.

I would like to see him in Vegas playing om a line with Hertl
Hertl is hardworking and always seem so positive
Vrana's contract makes him an easy add.

He’s scored some timely goals and has converted on 25% of his shots. He’s the only player in the NHL with 3 Game Winning Goals in under 30 Games Played and that’s with less than 10 minutes a game. He’s better than Mangiapane and makes 1/6th of his salary.

I don't think his scoring ability is in doubt. It's all the other parts of his game that are the issue

I'll also add he has won a Stanley Cup. He was good in their run.
